Jerusalem: The Constitution of Harmony and the Redeemed State of Man

28 02 2007
Throne of God

Jerusalem carries many esoteric and symbolic meanings that directly relate to a spiritualized state in Man. Jerusalem means the City of Peace and also the Vision of Peace; however, when Jerusalem is spelled Urusalem (Uru-Salem/Ur-Salem) its meaning is then altered to “the foundation of Peace” and/or “the dwelling place of Light and Peace (Harmony).” In man, Jerusalem represents the abiding consciousness of spiritual peace, which is the result of self realization regarding Man’s spiritual power balanced with a serene spiritual confidence. Anatomically, Jerusalem, the Vision of Peace, symbolizes the hidden nerve center located behind the anatomical heart: the Occult Chamber of the Heart. From this chamber spirit radiates divine harmonics to all parts within the temple of man.

  • 1 Corinthians 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own.”

The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of the Christ Within You (2 Volume Set)Around Jerusalem stand the walls that symbolize the balancing of the negative and positive forces of soul consciousness which protect the spiritual substance from penetrating errors of limited thought. This is presented in Philippians 4:7, “and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds.” The equalization of positive and negative forces results in the renewing and spiritualizing transformation within the divine organism of Spirit-Man. When the adept learns to travel to the depths of silence and to the recesses of stillness within the heart center, the “Theophanic Vision” of Allah is revealed in degrees. This is the phase of development where consciousness receives an upload in divine intelligence which projects the consciousness program from one plane of manifestation to another while activating higher spiritual functions within one of the many “Overself” vehicles.

Dark Night of the SoulThe way to Jerusalem, the dwelling place of Light and Peace, is by way of the Higher Self through Moorish Meta-Psychic Introspection, through the perfect expression of all mental faculties, by way of the 12 occult nerves (12 gates of Jerusalem, 12 pairs of cranial nerves, 12 precious jewels, 12 Disciples) which are under the control of the “I Am,” through the covenant between the Asiatic self and the Messianic “Overself” which embodies the divine codes of mutual polarization and spirit communication between the soul intelligences and through the binding of the “I Am” consciousness of the planetary intelligence (Nasuwt) that becomes attached to the “I Am” of the advanced higher evolutionary brotherhood that occupy the angelic realms of Malakuwt (Surah 21:92, Surah 23:52). The way to meta-physical Jerusalem, the Foundation of Peace, and its attainment lies hidden with the esoteric definition of Moslem, the one who is of Peace and the one who dwells in a (constant) state of Peace (Harmony). The adept is surely on the way to attainment of Peace when he/she realizes ever present essence of Allah within.

Journey to the Lord of Power: A Sufi Manual on RetreatThe representation of Issa (Jesus, Eshu, Esu) traveling to Jerusalem symbolizes the final step that one takes to crucify the ego self (lower self) for the Higher Self to triumph in the personal jihad that takes place within. This progressive unfoldment also signifies the time when the spiritual “I Am” takes control and lifts all of the animalistic forces of “nafs” into the spiritual planes of Mastery by way of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice. This is the divine substance for transmutation, transformation and transliteration.

Truth is first received in the heart of Man, of which Jerusalem symbolizes, but because of intellectual dominance, truth is capture by the intelligence of the “Lower Self” and confined to the bonds of calculated illusion which is crystallized by the ganglionic receptacle of thought. This place of intellectual feeling creates concepts of error that plague the mind with chemical cellular memories of joy and pain. However, within the dwelling place of light and peace, located in the love center (cardiac plexus), truth is regenerated for the purpose of redeeming itself, for the temple of Man, through religious bigotry and intolerance, becomes the chrysalis center for narrow crystallized thought. This level of thought crystallization hinders the development of divine love and the activation of the “Occult Chamber of the Heart: the Dwelling Place of Allah.” The reason is: Man creates a wall of separation between the secular and the religious, the good and the bad, and the chosen and the “not” chosen, thus developing a psycho-spiritual caste system.

The Interior CastleWhen the radiant light of truth is blocked in the heart and sought to be killed by the animalistic ego self, the ruling intellect sees truth as an assassin who has been inciting a revolt against the intellectual faculty and deems it an enemy combatant that creates the plot for the “Battle for Jerusalem.” The conflict for Jerusalem on Earth is directly correlated with the battle for Jerusalem in Man: the battle between the Higher Self and the Lower Self.

The New Jerusalem of Revelation (21:2) is the triumphant spiritual consciousness that receives the prepared programs for the spiritualized transition ” for “Man is doomed to perfection.” The peace makers (Moslems) then commune with the Single Brotherhood of the angelic realms to experience the Jerusalem of the Higher World from which the biophysical Jerusalem (City of Melchizedek (al Khidr), Urusalim, Salem) is a model of. Once the program of New Jerusalem is accomplished, a new creation story will begin as Man is redeemed for his next phase of development in the grand plan of Allah.

The Hidden Glory of the Inner ManThis is further expressed in the symbology of Mt. Moriah, a mount in Jerusalem upon which Solomon built the Temple (Chronicles 3:1). Mt. Moriah, meaning the Vision of God (El Eloh, al-ilah “Allah”) represents the divine inspiration and insight from the occult chamber of the heart that expresses the divine will of Allah through the higher planes of consciousness in Man. The mount of Moriah, esoterically symbolize a high place of understanding and perception that is beyond material body consciousness. These higher planes, the soul, spirit and psychic planes of consciousness, are aligned here, in Mt. Moriah, the farthest Mosque as stated in the Quran.

  • Surah 17:1 “Glory to Allah who did take his servant for a journey by night from the sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts we did bless, in order that we might show him some of our signs: for he is the one who heareth and seeth (all things).”

The alignment of the consciousness planes with Jerusalem, on Mt. Moriah, awakens the adept to the divine plan (Will) of Allah which connects the Moorish Scientist to the fountain of light that is generated by the perpetual essence of Allah. This fountain of infinite wisdom radiates in the occult chamber of the heart and links the adept to the portals (realms) of higher creation which enlightens the Asiatic planes that are guided by the Single Brotherhood of Allah (Surah 21:92, Surah 23:52).

Shall each righteous, pure and persistent adept thrive to make a pilgrimage to the dwelling place of Light and Peace, Jerusalem, which is located in the farthest Mosque of Allah. May the pure in heart and intent experience their own personal “night of power (Surah 97:1-5),” an indefinite moment of enlightenment under the divine light of Allah.

The Greatest Mystery: The Voyage that Was Only In the Self (Essence) of Allah

23 02 2007
esoteric

“Time never was when man was not”..Man cannot die, the spirit-man is one with Allah, and while Allah lives man cannot die. When man has conquered every foe upon the plane of soul the seed will have full opened out, will have unfolded in the Holy Breath. The garb of soul will then have served its purpose well, and man will need it never more, and it will pass and be no more and man will then attain unto the blessedness of perfectness and at one with Allah.” - Moorish Holy Koran

The Soul's JourneyIn understanding the greatest truth, Man must first learn that he is not other than Allah and Allah is certainly not other than him as all visible and invisible, manifest and un-manifest creations are all of the essence of Allah. Once man gains a thorough understanding of true and divine nature, he/she realizes that they have neither bounds nor limits. This is the meaning of the symbolic and necessary spiritual deaths (transformation) that relinquish man of his ego self and replace it with the characteristics and attributes of Allah. Man then becomes one, in identity, with Allah, thus manifesting the “I Am” consciousness of the ever pervading essence of Allah. This allegorical transformation is hidden within the esoteric drama of Jesus (Issa, Eshu, Esu, Yehoshua) that states “that there is a holy ministry in death.” With an understanding of the divine codes manifested as “the message of truth,” man learns the meaning of the Islamic code of “death before dying.” This instruction indicates that one who dies before dying realizes that every aspect of his being is of Allah’s essence and being, therefore, understanding that there is no difference between Allah and him/her self. For if his/her being were not already of Allah, he/she could not begin to know themselves. Thus the statement, “when you know yourself, you know Allah” as there is nothing in existence or beyond existence but Allah.

The Art of Being and BecomingThe condition of self knowledge is to know that there is no separate self or ego that is unique to Man. If this was so, then there would be no urge or need to know self, as you have been a god, self existent and without any other existence but yourself. However, the manifestation of Allah’s essence is hidden in the realm of the seen and the secret is manifest in what is visible as Allah’s multiplicity is also his Oneness and his Oneness is his multiplicity. In truth, there is no being other than Allah as Allah manifests, simultaneously, in every moment at different states and in different forms. If one masters this concept and does not consider themselves to be equal to, the same as, other than or together with, Allah. For Allah is beyond being within a thing, or a person/thing being within him. Allah is neither inside nor outside of anything; nor can he be seen by the eyes of the head or with the inner eyes of man; nor can anyone conceive Allah through senses, the mind, the intellect, or the imagination. Only Allah can conceive, perceive and see himself. None can know him as he could only know himself. He sees himself by himself. That which conceals him is his oneness. None but himself can conceal him. The veil that conceals him is of his own being. He conceals his being with nothing other that his being, the only one; therefore, none other than he can comprehend or look upon him.

The Elixir of the Gnostics: A parallel English-Arabic text (Islamic Translation Series)Neither can any prophet, human being, saint, perfected being or angelic entity in close proximity can see him, for they are not apart from him. Allah’s prophets, messengers, saints, and sages are none other than he, for he sent himself, from himself, for himself, without any other cause or means besides himself. Allah prepared his essence, sent his essence, from his essence, by his essence, to his essence. There is no difference between the One who sent and his messengers who are sent; hence the great and esoteric Islamic saying, “I know my Lord by my Lord.” This concept of Allah may seem strange, unreasonable, or farfetched, but this concept has existed throughout eons. To better understand this concept, consider the following passages:

  • “Time never was when man was not. If life at any time began, a time would come when it would end. The thoughts of Allah cannot be circumscribed. No finite mind can comprehend things infinite”. Man is a thought of Allah; all thoughts of Allah are infinite; they are not measured up by time, for the things that are concerned with time, begin and end. The thoughts of Allah are the everlasting of the past unto the never-ending days to come. And so is man, the spirit-man”. So spirit-man as seed of Allah help deep within himself the attributes of every part of Allah. Now, seeds are perfect, yea, as perfect as the source from which they come.” - The Moorish Holy Koran, Chapter 1
  • “No one has seen God at any time, I we love one another, God abides in us, and his love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His spirit”. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” - 1 John 4:12-13, 20

Sufi Metaphysics and Quranic Prophets: Ibn 'Arabi's Thought and Method in the Fusus al-HikamTo understanding these messages is to understand your divine connection with everything as everything is of Allah’s essence despite not being able see Allah in form as an individualized, separate and grandiose anthropomorphic being. With this understanding, you see what is around you as not other than you, and all and everything as the existence of the One ” Allah; when you do not see anything else with him or in him, but see him in everything as yourself and at the same time as the nonexistence of yourself ” then what you see is “Al Haqq.” Then you truly realize that it is not yourself that you are seeing or yourself that you are knowing, but the essence of Allah, for only Allah can see and know Allah. When you know yourself with this quality, you know your Lord without being in Him, with Him, or united to Him. The knower and the known and the one that joins with the one joined, are then realized as one despite the illusion of many. However, one may ask, “How does one be with Allah, when there is none other than he, for one cannot be unified with one’s self.” For this question, the answer would manifest as, “there is no union or being with Allah, because to be with someone or to be united with something would be to imply that there are two entities. As there are not two, but One, there is neither a being with Allah nor a uniting the Allah. In the Oneness of Allah, coming of close has no nearness and being far has no distance, for there is no time and space. At this point the adept realizes the meaning of the following lesson, “Truth is Aught, Aught is Allah and Allah and man are one.” This is better demonstrated through the following: the one who knows and the thing known, the one who joins and the thing joined, the one who sees and the thing seen, are all One. The Knower is Allah’s attribute; the known is his essence. The Joiner is Allah’s attribute; the joined is his essence. The Seer is his attribute; the seen is his essence. The one who assumes the attribute is the same as the attribute. This is the meaning of “He who knows himself knows his Lord.”

Ibn Arabi: The Tree of BeingThere is nothing except Allah and His essence for every “something” and every “no-thing” exists as the essence of Allah, simply a reflection of the greatest perfection. When one looks into the mirror, one sees themselves. Their appearance appears as the image in the mirror. When one looks upon the image, in return the image looks upon them. The eye that stares at you in the mirror belongs to you; therefore, is it not true that the image that is now looking at you is, in reality, you looking upon yourself through your own eyes?

If that stands as truth, is not also true that if the name of the person looking in the mirror is Drew Ali, and if the image in the mirror could speak and say, “I am Drew Ali,” would it not be telling the truth, Yet, as the image is reflected, so would be the words. It would not be the image that calls itself Drew Ali, but the one who is looking into the mirror. The reflection is the same as that being reflected, and the words of the image are the reflected words of the “real one.” Hence, the great and boundless void represents the mirror and creation is the image in it (mirror). Man is as the eye of the image reflected in the mirror; the One who is reflected in the image is hidden in the pupil of that eye; thus He sees Himself. This is one of the great mysteries to understanding the “Oneness” of Allah.

Only those that have an active “occult chamber of the heart” will understand this message. The adepts that understand are those that have resolved to find themselves and know Allah by knowing themselves. Those who dedicated their efforts to gaining a greater understanding of Allah, have within them, the divine light of the love and the insatiable desire for Allah in their hearts. These are the ones who will gain admittance into the dwelling place of the throne of Allah and know that there is no existence other than Allah.

The one who does not know himself and who sees himself as other than Allah cannot see Allah; for one does not see other than what his inner sight will allow him to see, perceive or experience. The blind man does not see and those that lack understanding will struggle to understand. However, the one who sees, sees; and the one who understands, understands. These are the “pure” who will be enlightened by Allah’s light and who will find the path to truth, oneness and unity for this is the “Will of Allah.”

The Occult Chamber of the Heart (Pt. 2): The Reflection of the Inner Lights of Man

12 02 2007
temple-of-peace

Within Man are three lights: the light of the mind, the light of certainty and the light of life. An example of these three esoteric lights can be best explained through the following phenomena: the Earth does not have its own light; however, when the Sun is reflected upon it, it (Earth) shines and is illumined as a radiant orb of life and intelligence. Just as the Sun shone on the Earth, the Sun also shines upon the Moon, making it visible to those that inhabit the Earth plane. The Niche of Lights (Islamic Translation Series)This magnificent source of illumination is yearned to be comprehended by the optic nerve, but the photonic radiation is so great that it would terminate the flow of information in the optic chiasm which would result in blindness. The same phenomenon of illumination applies within the spiritual anatomy of Man.

The physical body, which is the domain of the lower self, is made of gross and mundane matter, like the Earth. Yet the light of the heart, which is the domain of the spirit of Allah, reaches the farthest corner and crevices of the shell of flesh, and is further reflected upon the mind, where the inner eye begins to visualize the greater reality. Just as daylight enables the outer eyes of the exoteric anatomy to see, so does the “heart-light” shining upon the inner eye prepares Man for the reception of higher tones with greater sensory perception. In this state of realization, the basic senses have no more use, for the light that the inner eye perceives vibrates at a greater frequency than the light that is recorded by the mundane eyes of exoteric anatomy. What is now seen are the greater information photonic codes of the angelic realms (Malakuwt). At this time, light upon higher manifestations of light (Light upon Light), opens a second eye of the heart. This is termed the eye of certainty, the eye that perceives “Al-Haqq,” the true reality. With the eye opened, the pure adept can pierce the veil and look upon light itself, which is called the light of certainty. The components of this light act as superluminal emanations from higher evolutionary manifestations of consciousness forces which guided all of the divine emissaries of the “Brotherhood of One (Surah 23:52).’

Suhrawardi: The Shape of LightThere are two divine lights that come from Allah (Genesis 1:16): “Then God made two great lights: the greater to rule the day and the lesser to rule the night. He made the stars also.” One shines upon the path of knowledge and wisdom, and the other shines upon the path that leads to the obliteration of ego (illusory separate identity of Man) and into unity with Allah. Man has two inner eyes in the heart: one is the eye of understanding, and the other is the eye that guides one to salvation. That light by which Allah guides is the light of certainty. This is the light that shines toward the path to paradise. If the source of light is added to the light shed upon the path of guidance, it will make visible all the hitherto unseen realms of the angelic beings in the greater worlds and planes of Allah. These are the beings who are the agents of Allah, who carry the secret commands of your destiny. This is the “Light upon Light” that is spoken of in Surah 24:35.

  • The Reflective Heart: Discovering Spiritual Intelligence in Ibn 'Arabi's 'Meccan Illuminations'The Holy Quran - Surah 24:35 “Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. The parable of his Light is as if there were a niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass; the glass as it were a brilliant star. Lit from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth set forth parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.’

The light of life, the third light, is the light which energizes the animal self in man (Ruh al Hayvani/Nafs al Ammarah). There are three influences that weaken it and render it impotent. These influences are revealed as frequencies that deafens the ear; a veil that blinds the eye; and a veil that blinds the mind. These three The Philosophy of Illuminationinfluences, which are spoken of in the Holy Quran, are caused by the influence of the material world, the world of illusion and lower self intoxication. The intoxication with these three ruffians of negation renders the heart sick. When the heart is in a state of disease, the mind launches a ray of light upon it to immunize the heart against the tyranny of the lower self. However, while burning the debris of the lower self, it also burns the heart, and the heart on fire, is covered with the dark smoke by-product it generates. This smoke by-product separates the heart from the mind, breaking all communication between them. Thus the heart is darkened and void of light. It is this dark cloud that has fallen upon the heart which becomes a blinding veil.

That which obstructs the light of certainty and obscures the sight of the eye of the heart is the lack of trust, sincerity, and a lack of a discerning nature that distinguishes the positive forces of life from the negative forces of destruction. The resistance to these ills is within the range of human possibility. With positive intent, active effort and concentration upon Allah’s will, the imbalance caused by the lower self, can be healed and recalibrated to the harmonics of Allah. This will restore health to the heart and produce peace of heart (Islam). Then the Light upon Light enters, and with it, the eyes are open to the greater realms of being and realization. For the heart becomes a mirror where Allah’s light is reflected as Allah is the light of the Heavens and the Earth.

Luke 11:36 “If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.’

The Synchronicity of Destiny: The Unified Harmonic within Multiplicity

7 02 2007
manuniverse

The mind is an intangible instrument of which the brain is a vehicle. In this case, the “Mind” acts as the frequency (radio station) and the brain acts as the receiving component (stereo receiver). However, the key to self realization lies in the vibratory realm of the Divine Mind. Just as a man with limited perception creates limits on that which is unlimited and beyond his/her power of thought measurement, Man with a greater insight has a larger view and is more attuned to the finer frequencies of that which is sacred, infinite and limitless. This evolution of mind allows the adept to see, through inner sight, the divine essence of Allah in all that occupy the plane of manifestation: Assiah. However, it is within the psyche of basic human thought and behavior, to examine people, surroundings and knowledge from their level of thinking as an instrument, or mind, can only measure a thing that is within its scope of measurement (MHK 10:18). Hence, a mind that seeks imbalance will find that which he/she desires, even in that which is balanced. The genesis of Man’s being is within his/her mind as stated in the etymology of the term man. In Sanskrit, the term for Man is manu or manushi and the term for mind is manas, thus expressing Man’s existence within the state of Mind. However, all of the external stimuli that seemingly exists before his eyes (illusion receptors) hides all other aspects of his true being, which in comparison to his external observations, seem invisible, unreal and insignificant.

The Self-Disclosure of God: Principles of Ibn Al-'Arabi's Cosmology (Suny Series in Islam)Within ancient Islamic text is the saying, “If you wish to Know Allah, you must know yourself,” but while man is intoxicated and overwhelmed with the lower self and the realm(s) of illusion and (supposed) individualism, his path toward “Mind” attunement remains distant and unseen. Man, in this state of lower self involvement, sees himself as being a separate being with no connection being between “you” and “me.” This limited and basic concept of being fails to encompass the (greater) reality that each inhabitant is not only affected by the involuntary physiological activities that maintain his/her existence, but also the activities of others that directly affect Man’s emotions, motivation, perception and behaviors. The whole activity of Man’s mundane “life” depends on these thoughts and interactions and is changed according to their fluctuation in vibration. Therefore, Man is not truly independent or an individual as the essence of Allah permeates “all” through interaction and the science of synchronicity. Man is connected by thought and frequency; however, the degree of influence is based on the strength and personality that is receiving or sending the imagery of thought and vibration. With constant study, one begins to see how all lives are linked to one another by the unified current that runs through all; there are many lamps and globes of illumination, but one source of nourishment that remains constant in all, whether seen or unseen.

Kybalion: A Study of the Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and GreeceThe Moorish Scientist seeks to realize this source of nourishment and chooses to impress this universal constant onto his/her mind template. Just as it appears that each wave of the ocean is an individual aquatic expression, it must return to its source from which a seemingly “new” wave may arise. The conclusion - there is only one, not many. However, the myriad, grades and degrees of feeling, thought and imagination, create experience that ultimately returns to the infinite depths of the divine mind where they (experiences) are assimilated and record in the greater realms of Akasha.

All aspects of life have a central focal point by which everything meets and joins together and that meeting place is within the Divine Mind of Allah. The purification of mind lies in the realization that the sea by which the varying degrees and grades of forms and names connect in one unified harmonic and that harmonic is the controlling mechanism of all thought vibration, mental sensation and perceptive ability.

The Qur’an is recorded as stating “No single atom moves independently of the hand of Allah;” therefore no thing or activity of any kind takes place, either here or there, in the galactic heavens, without the impulse from within and from the depths of being, where all signature frequencies (minds) and the effects of their activity meet and unite in Allah. This concept then urges the adept and initiate of “ahadiyya” (the unity of Allah) to act in the law of reciprocity, as the secret of inner peace and happiness lies in this cosmic principle. However, this principle does not encourage the seeking of happiness in others as the defining point of internal happiness and being, as? this principle is founded upon the acts of service and charity without the conscious and premeditated expectation of reward. If the world was viewed as dome where each action becomes a rippling vibration of another, the dynamics of this principle would demonstrate the following: Do positive works and those works would be returned to you; if not from one person, then from another. However, justice and reward will only be rendered when one becomes self-less, such is the law of justice. Do not do good deeds for the sake of reward, but because it is the nature and essence of your being.

Journey to the Lord of Power: A Sufi Manual on RetreatThrough balanced action and balanced thought, the Moorish Scientist develops his/her mind in the manner or purification: action, thought, behavior and feeling. This act of balance requires that the action of “judgment” not be used, for how could a finite mind judge the infinite process of evolution and role each Asiatic creation play in this drama of being and becoming? Whatever differences in principles of positive and negative action religious faiths may attempt to extrapolate, no two individuals will ever differ in the following principle: every soul seeks after the virtue of beauty and positive life experience as no one naturally demands to be abused, deceived, or mistreated.

Once the unity of Mind, the law of reciprocity, and synchronicity of destiny is understood and followed, the Moorish Scientist need not follow any particular belief system or restrict him/her self to a particular path as he/she will be practicing Islam whether they recognize it or not. At that moment in development, one has no purpose for being dependent on one particular path of attainment as it is then learned that inner beauty and divine attainment it not something you get from another; but a living essence in action that you give through your actions and your thoughts. The perfection of “Mind” is developed through contemplation, reflection, self realization and understanding of the one current that flows through the whole of “life.” That which we call “The Deity” is the depth of being, the essence of all activity to which all activity and every action is connected. This is the science of origin and return, the unity of Allah. The seeker of Aught (truth) affirms that his/her work is to forget the self, to obliterate separateness and become like the wave that realizes “I am the ocean,” and by losing himself into the ocean prostrates to its most divine self: Allah. In this, “‘be ye perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect (Mathew 5:48).’

Avoiding the Manifestations of Negativity and the People that Resonate that Infectious Frequency (Agents of Chaos): An Allegorical Lesson Regarding the Consequence of Lot’s Wife

4 02 2007
Lot's-Wife

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” - Mathew 7:6

It must be understood that your physical and psychological well-being can easily be affected by those that harbor negative energy, misery, counter-productive thought patterns and imbalanced actions and behaviors. This type of energy emission create cycles of pathology that becomes infectious, parasitic and crippling. Just as airborne pathogens, sexually transmitted diseases and viruses are contagious, so are emotional and behavioral states.

Mastery Through Accomplishment: Developing Inner Strength for Life's ChallengesIn many occassions, an involuntary victim can become a surrogate of disharmony and confusion, simply by maintaining an ongoing unhealthy (familial, romantic, business, frienship) relationship with another that precipitates their own distaster. Since the Asiatic creations of this “plane of manifestation” are extremely susceptible to the emotional states, energies and the behaviors of others, a rational conclusion can be reached that supports the fact that the negative and counter-productive behaviors of others can inadvertently affect the lives of those that attempt to display support and/or unconditional love. The perpetual involvement with others that practice the clinical definition of insanity (repeating the same process, but expecting a different outcome) will lead a sane individual to demonstrate acts of psychological self-harm and self-destruction.

In the process of self mastery, one must learn the difference between “unconditional love” and the psychological definition of “enabling.” Unconditonal love involves the action of love without measure or condition. However, within the scope of unconditional love, the mystic definition of “unconditional love” is the ability to “allow” the one being loved to experience the “mystery of life” without continued assistance that could jeopardize or stagnate their spiritual growth; becasue in the display of unconditional love, one learns the meaning of the old saying “sometimes to love is to let go.”

On the other side of this equation is the psychologically crippling behavior of “enabling.” Enabling involves aiding, assisting and supporting others despite their destructive behavior. Often times, the enabler will allow, and aid, the “agent of chaos” in the acts of harming themselves and their loved ones until inevitable destruction takes place. In this vicious and abusive cycle, many victims are created, directly and indirectly. This then creates a cyclic pattern of pathology that is perpetuated until one is born of that cycle that possess the “divine will” to break that cycle. One must have a truly discerning spirit if they are to avoid making themselves a prisoner to their own goodwill, or worse, they themselves become an “agent of chaos” exhibiting degrees of the behavior (physical, psychological or emotional) they were trying to remedy.

Ibn-Al-Arabi: The Bezels of Wisdom (Classics of Western Spirituality Series)In all good effort, most desire to assist others to see them raise themselves up, change their thoughts and patterns, but often times, when one cannot discern the difference between unconditional love and enabling, the patterns of the “agents of chaos” end up festering inside and mutating the psyche of the one of goodwill. These “agents of chaos” are not to be misunderstood with those that encounter hardship in their life or some type of misfortune. These infectious entities are identified as those that continue the same path of destruction despite the counsel from elders, intelligent and rational assistance and the therapeutic encouragement offered from clinical advice and suggestions. However, growth and advancement, for these individuals, will take place from a more influential level which may either require intervention from 1) a higher source of being or 2) an intervention at a later time when they are more attuned to their higher self. Until one or the other takes place, these entities must be handled with care and discernment.

This type of person has the powerful ability to generate, and maintain, a vicious cycle of destruction that often leads to the demise of innocent people which entered their life for their good and for their eventual progress. The result of imbalance is often times imbalance. Negativity spreads and in some cases, the only assistance that one can receive has to come from a greater plane of knowing and being. It is a charitable service to assist and aid another, but it is also foolish to jeopardize your own divine reward for those that become intoxicated with the world of illusion and the temporary manifestations of feeling. A known fact amongst the wise is that there is an eventual destiny of destruction for those that constantly violate the harmony and the law of the most divine essence of Allah; but it is also known that “man is doomed to perfection.” This paradox basically states that he/she will eventually gain mastery at some stage or degree of their evolution while on the path of “origin and return.” This is an aspect of the symbology behind the allegorical lesson of Lot’s wife turing into a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26).

It is important to help thy brother and thy sister, but it is also important to not follow the path of self-destruction all under the guise of goodwill. It is a beautiful act to recognize the infinite potential in another person, but the true lesson is for that person to recognize, and use, the potential that remains dormant in their inner sanctorum. You can only provide guidance and instruction, but the “will” and “act” soley belongs to them. It also remain true that you cannot provide supplementation to someone elses (inner) deficiency for they are ultimately responsible for their own salavation.

“If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of faith, we shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in (a state of) Hell - What an evil refuge!” - The Holy Qur’an Surah 4:115

The Journey of Origin and Return: The Assimilation of the Divine Scriptures into the Consciousness of Man

31 01 2007
corridorofknowlede

It is the Duty of every conscious and loving Moorish American / Moorish Scientist to study and re-study themselves and the ancient text of this plane of existence; them namely being the Moorish Holy Koran, the Holy Qur’an, the Torah, the Injiyl and the many other holy scripts that contain divine guidance and instruction, to gain spiritual insight and greater perception with his/her own capacity of divine understanding. With the aims of attaining a greater degree of knowledge while in contemplation and reflection, the adept must then utilize their outer and inner enlightened experience to instruct others while sharing with them the vision and the concepts of higher thought patterns for the understanding of Allah’s greater plan which resulted from intense contact with the finer planes of vibration. Every spiritual instruction manual, especially the Moorish Holy Koran, the Qur’an of Mecca, the Injiyl and the Torah, after being read and studied with the intuitive faculties and with spirit guided intellect; the adept learns the path to Unity, self mastery and the Throne of Mercy (sarir al-rahmaniyya). The initiate seeking admittance in the science of Allah “Unity” and the mysteries of self mastery is required to study all of the ancient and sacred text sent to the Earth plane to ensure that a greater understanding of Allah is attained as opposed to partial knowledge of the great and universal creator: Allah. This divine concept is supported by the Moorish Holy Koran - 10:18 “Man names the part of Allah he sees, and this to him is all of Allah; and every nation sees a part of Allah, and every nation has a name for Allah.” To ensure a full and wholistic understanding of the primordial science of Allah, man “must” study “all” of the scriptures, in full, to solidify an all encompassing vision of the coordinates to Allah. This is further validated in the Holy Qur’an of Mecca in the following degrees:

  • The Holy Qur’an Surah 3:3 “It is He who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, Confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus).”
  • The Holy Qur’an Surah 3:84 “Say: We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham (Suhuf-i-Ibrahim), Ishmail, Issac, Jacob, and the tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses (Torah), Jesus (Al Injiyl), and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no destinction betwee one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam).”

The Philosophy of IlluminationThe following text represent insight into the primordial science of the “Upright” - that ancient and original science that existed prior to idols and forms. Man is on an upward and inward ascension to Allah and is “doomed to perfection” for Allah is his/her destiny. Read the following passages to gain greater understanding regarding 1) the journey of origin and return and 2) the universality of the degrees of Allah.

THE INTRODUCTORY COMMENTARY OF THE HOLY QUR’AN

“Glory to Allah Most High, full of Grace and Mercy; He created all, including Man. To Man He gave a special place in His Creation. He honored man to be His Agent, and to that end, endured him with understanding. Purified his affections, and gave spiritual insight; so that man should understand Nature, understand himself, and know Allah through His wondrous Signs, and glorify Him in Truth, reverence, and unity.

For the fulfillment of this great trust, Man was further given Will, so that his acts should reflect Allah’s universal Will and Law, and his mind, freely choosing, should experience the sublime joy of being in harmony with the Infinite, and with the great drama of the world around him, and with his own spiritual growth.

But, created though he was in the best of molds, man fell from unity when his Will was warped, and he chose the crooked path of discord; and sorrow and pain, selfishness and degradation, ignorance and hatred, despair and unbelief poisoned his life, and he saw shapes of evil in the physical, moral and spiritual world, an in himself.

Then did his soul against himself, and his self-discord made discord between kith and kin: Men began to fear the strong and oppress the weak, to boast in prosperity, and curse in adversity; and to flee each other, pursuing phantoms, for the truth and reality of Unity was gone from their minds.

When men spread themselves over the Earth, and became many nations, speaking diverse languages, and observing customs and laws; the evils became multiplied, as one race of nations became alienated from another. The brotherhood of Man was now doubly forgotten ” First, between individuals, and secondly, between nations. Arrogance, selfishness, and untruth were sown and reaped in larger fields; and Peace, Faith, Love and Justice (Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice) were obscured over masses of men, as larger tracts of land were starved of sunshine by clouds floating far on high.

But Allah, in his infinite mercy and love, who forgives and guides individuals and nations, and turns to good even what seems to us evil, never forsakes the struggling soul that turns to Him, nor the groups of men and women who join together to obey His Will and Law, and strengthen each other in unity and truth, nor the nations that dwell in mountain and valley, heat and cold, in regions fertile or arid, in societies that roam over land or seas, or hunt, tend to flock, or till the soil, or seek the seas for food or oil or fat or gems, or dig our from the bowels of the Earth precocious stones or metals or stored-up heat and energy, or practice arts and crafts, or produce abundant wealth by machines of ingenious workmanship, or live a frugal life of contemplation: for all are creatures of One God, and share His loving care and must be brought within the pale of His eternal unity and harmony.

And so this light of eternal Unity has shone in all ages and among all nations, through chosen Messengers of Allah, who came as men to dwell among men, to share their joys and sorrows, to suffer for them and with them ” Aye, and to suffer more than falls to ordinary mortal lot ” that so their message and their life might fulfill the eternal and unchanging purpose of the Most High ” to lead man to his noblest destiny.

Ever this eternal light of Unity, this mystic light of Allah’s own will, has shone and shines with undiminished splendor. The names of many messengers are inscribed in the records of many nations and many tongues, and many were the forms in which their message was delivered, according to the needs of them times and the understanding of the people; and manifold were the lives of the Messengers, and manifold also was the response of their people; but they all witness the One Truth: of Allah’s unity, might, grace and love.

As the records of man are imperfect, and the memory of man unstable: the names of many of these messengers are known in one place and not in, or among one people and not among others; and some of their names may have perished utterly; but their message stands one and indivisible, even though it may have been forgotten, or twisted by ignorance, error, superstition or perversity; or misunderstood in the blinding light of time or tortuous circumstances.

Many were the faiths in the composite world of Western Asia, Northern Africa and Europe, and many were the fragments of ancient wisdom, saved, transformed, renewed, or mingled; and many new streams of wisdom were poured through the crucibles of noble minds ” prophets, poets, preachers, philosophers, and thinking men of action; and many were the conflicts, and may the noble attempts reaching out towards Unity, and many were the subtle influences interchanged with the other worlds of further and Eastern Asia - Aye, and perchance with the scattered Isles of the Pacific and the world between the Atlantic and the Pacific.

At length came the time when the Voice of Unity should speak and declare to the people; without the need of Priests or Priest-craft, without miracles except those that happen now and always in the spiritual world, without mystery, except those mysteries which unfold themselves in the growing inner experience of man and his vision of Allah ” to declare with an unfaltering voice the Unity of Allah, the Brotherhood of Man, and Grace and Mercy, Bounty and Love, Poured out in unstinted measure forever and ever….” - From the Introductory Commentary of the Holy Qur’an

THE MOORISH HOLY KORAN (CHAPTER 1)

“Time never was when man was not.” If life of man at any time began, a time would come when it would end. “The thoughts of Allah cannot be circumscribed. No finite mind can comprehend things infinite. All finite things are subject unto change. All finite things will cease to be because there was a time when they were not.” The bodies and the souls of men are finite things, and they will change, yea, from the finite point of view the time will come when they will be no more. “But man himself is not the body, nor the soul; he is a spirit and a part of Allah.” Creative Fate gave to man, to spirit-man, a soul that he might function on the plane of soul; gave him a body of the flesh, that he might function on the plane of things made manifest. Why did creative Fate give to spirit-man a soul that he might function on the plane of soul? Why did creative Fate give to soul a body of the flesh that he might function on the plane of things that are made manifest?

["Hear, now, ye worlds, dominions, powers and thrones!]

Hear, now, ye cherubim, ye seraphim, ye angels and ye men!

“Hear, now, oh protoplast, and earth, and plant and beast!

“Hear, now, ye creeping things of earth, ye fish that swim, ye birds that fly!

“Hear, now, ye winds that blow, ye thunders and ye lightnings of the sky!

“Hear, now, ye spirits of the fire, of water, earth, and air!

“Hear, now, oh everything that is, or was, or evermore will be, for Wisdom speaks from out of the highest plane of spirit life:

“Man is a thought of Allah; all thoughts of Allah are infinite; they are not measured up by time, for things that are concerned with time, begin and end.

“The thoughts of Allah are the everlasting of the past unto the never ending days to come. And so is man, the spirit-man.

“But man like every other thought of Allah, was but a seed, a seed that held within itself the potencies of Allah, just as the seed of any plant of earth holds deep within itself the attributes of every part of that especial plant.

“So spirit-man, as seed of Allah held deep within himself the attributes of every part of God.

The Elixir of the Gnostics: A parallel English-Arabic text (Islamic Translation Series)“Now, seed are perfect, yea, as perfect as the source from which they come; but they are not unfolded into life made manifest. The child is as perfect as the mother is. So man, the seed, must be deep planted in a soil that he might grow, unfold, as does the bud unfold to show the flower. The human seed that came forth from the heart of Allah was full ordained to be the Lord of plane of soul, and of the plane of things made manifest. So Allah, the husbandman of every thing that is, threw forth this human seed into the soil of soul; it grew apace, and man became a living soul; and he became the Lord of all the kingdom of the soul. Hark, now, let every creature hear, the plane of soul is but the ether of the spirit plane vibrating not so fast, and in the slower rhythm of this plane the essences of life are manifest; the perfumes and the odors, the true sensations and the all of love are manifest.

“And these soul attributes become a body beautiful. A multitude of lessons man must learn upon the plane of soul; and here he tarries many ages until his lessons are all learned. Upon the boundary of the plane of soul, the ether began to vibrate slower still and then the essences took on a final garb; the perfumes and the odors and the true sensations and the all of love were clothed in flesh; and man was clothed in flesh. Perfected man must pass through all the ways of life, and so a carnal nature was full manifest, a nature that sprang forth from fleshly things. Without a foe a soldier never knows his strength, and thought must be developed by the exercise of strength. And so this carnal nature soon became a foe that man must fight, that he might be the strength of Allah made manifest. Let every living thing stand still and hear! Man is the Lord of all the plane of manifest, of protoplast, of mineral, of plant, of beast, but he gave up his birthrights, just to gratify his lower self. But man will regain his lost estate, his heritage; but he must do it in a conflict that cannot be told in words. Yea, he must suffer trials and temptations manifold; but let him know that cherubim and seraphim that rule the stations of the sun and spirit of the mighty Allah who rule the solar stars are his protectors and his guide, and they will lead to victory. Man will be fully saved, redeemed, perfected by the things he suffers on the plane of flesh, and on the plane of soul. When man has conquered carnal things his garb of flesh will then have served its purpose well and it will fall; will be no more.

“Then he will stand untrammeled on the plane of soul where he must full complete his victories. Unnumbered foes will stand before man upon the plane of soul; these he must overcome, yea, overcome them every one. Thus hope will ever be his beacon light; there is no failure for the human soul, for Allah is leading on and victory is sure.

“Man cannot die; the spirit-man is one with Allah, and while Allah lives man cannot die. When man has conquered every foe upon the plane of soul the seed will have full opened out, will have unfolded in the Holy Breath. The garb of soul will then have served its purpose well, and man will need it never more, and it will pass and be no more and man will then attain unto the blessedness of perfectness and be at one with Allah.” - From the Moorish Holy Koran

All of the ancient and sacred scritpure: Suhuf-i-Ibrahim (The Pure Pages), Torah (5 Books of Moses), Az Zabur (Book Of Psalms), Al Hikmah (Book of Wisdom), Al Injiyl (Gospel/Revelations), and Al Qur’an act as a guide, science and gateway to the “many and one” universes of higher intelligence that serve Allah. The ancient scriptures are the revealed science of light that work in direct service to the hierarchies and theophanies of Aught within Allah’s continuum. With great and intense study, the adept of the sacred scriptures of light is translated into the higher thought frequencies where he/she is uploaded with the knowledge, wisdom and discernment of the heavenly codes that are to be transmitted to other Asiatic Creations.

The Divine Duty of a Sheik: The Master of the Mystic Lore of the “Old Time Religion” and the Upholder of the Spiritual Codes of Being and Becoming

17 01 2007
sufi

“He learned the secrets of the mystic lore of Egyptland, the mysteries of life and death and of the world beyond the circle of the sun.”

The Sheik, Moorish Scientist, explores three modes of active and operative knowledge that reduces the illusory “distance” between Man and ALLAH. These operative methods of knowledge are as follows: heart knowledge (love mysticism), beatific vision (theophany mysticism) and immaterial sensory knowledge (intuitive mysticism). In the scope of mysticism and mastery, the Sheik is identified as a physical representation of a sage and/or high priest operating in the ancient and mystic lore of the “old time religion” and in the ancient traditions of knowing and understanding which also include the activation of spiritual forces that effect the expression of phenomena. The Sheik is a master of the mysteries, both material and spiritual. The Sheik also acts as a spiritual counselor to assist in finding, understanding and processing solutions to spiritual and secular related issues that hinder the awakening process that lead to higher realms of being, experience and intelligence.

The Meccan Revelations, volume IThe function of a Sheik is to provide guidance for the purpose of helping others develop the discipline and character that support spiritual growth and enlightenment. This is done by identifying the spiritual destiny (Ori) while developing a spiritual blueprint to cultivate the higher destiny of the spiritual adept. Just as Moors honor all of the true and divine prophets, so does the Sheik by honoring and remaining out of conflict with other religions and traditions as he/she is thoroughly trained in the universal truth that is held within each spiritual system that re-links one to their divine and perfect origin.

The Sheik’s influence should extend deep into all phases of life as he/she lives for one purpose, to discover the will of ALLAH and to become that “Will” in manifestation. Because the Sheik is charged with the spiritual development of others, he/she must also dedicate themselves to improving their own understanding of life while acting as a proper example for others; therefore, the Sheik must hold his own behavior, thoughts and actions to the highest moral standards.

The Meccan Revelations, Volume IIThrough the utilization of the three modes of operative knowledge, the Sheik (Moorish Scientist) learns to recognize the world’s objects as garments of ALLAH. Through perpetual spiritual growth and discernment, the Sheik then sees the garments as transparencies, only to see ALLAH veiled within each garment as symbolism.

  • Moorish Holy Koran (MHK) 11:22 - “These forms of life were but the thought of ALLAH, clothed in the substance of their ether planes.”

The doctrine of “fana” (the extinction of personal existence Quran 55:26-27) plays a great role in the ever developing Sheik, Moorish Scientist, because he/she soon realizes that “self” consciousness, replete with private and personal agendas, perpetuate the seperateness of Man from ALLAH, which creates distance between Man and his true destiny: the “Oneness of ALLAH (ahadiyya).”

Read the following passage and think over the coded message.

“There is a means of polishing all things whereby rust may be removed. That which polishes the heart is the invocation of ALLAH.”

Moorish Science: The Self Disclosure to ALLAH Reality

16 01 2007
meditation

The deepest and purest essence of Moorish Science is not intended for those seeking surface knowledge or those looking for a false sense of intellectual status; instead, Moorish Science acts as a conduit for the study of the most ancient and sacred wisdom: Islam. This universal system of mastery prepares the adept for the experience with the inner master: The Higher Self.

To understand the deeper aspects of the practice of Moorish Science, an adept has to constantly search for enlightenment and an operative level of knowledge that is based on the spiritual attument with higher consciousness frequencies and a theophany of al- Haqq (truth) as a result of beatific vision. This level of study requires that the adept open his/her “inner spiritual eye” and extend his/her own conscience beyond the limits of the material/ carnal existence. This is the path to super consciousness.

The Self-Disclosure of God: Principles of Ibn Al-'Arabi's Cosmology (Suny Series in Islam)To truly comprehend the divine lessons of Moorish Science, one must prepare them selves for an intricate and arduous journey to the “Throne of Mercy,” sarir al-rahmaniyya. To better understand the intimacy of ALLAH development within each man and woman, the following parable best explains how one gains insight into the spiritual realms of ALLAH.

“During a time of abundance and wisdom, several scholars (alims) came to a sheik and requested that he explain the ancient and eternal wisdom of Moorish Science. The sheik smiled and stated, “If it is Allah’s will, you shall learn the mysteries of ALLAH on ‘this’ day.” The sheik then invited the scholars into his house and asked them to wait for a short time while he withdrew to a separate room to make retreat (khawla) to Allah. The sheik returned after several hours and stated that the wisdom of ALLAH was revealed in vision. He further stated that if the scholars received the same vision, then the mysteries of ALLAH was theirs; however, if they did not experience the glory of ALLAH, then they had to either seek another sheik or learn to seek the answers from within. The depth of this parable demonstrates that it is impossible to teach “truth,” but one can only be guided to the source of truth for each individual has to “experience” truth - not be “told” truth.

The pure essence of the sacred and mystic spiritual system of Moorish Science is revealed by ALLAH’s kindness only to those, who are seeking and making effort to achieve an inner understanding of the “Unity of ALLAH” (ahadiyya) by self study and self mastery.

  • Moorish Holy Koran 3:14-15 “If you would ask me what to study, I would say, yourselves; and when you well have studied them; and then would ask me what to study next, I would reply, yourselves. He who knows well his lower self, knows the illusions of the world, knows of the things that pass away; and he who knows his higher self, know Allah; knows well the things that cannot pass away.”

The divine lessons, held within Moorish Science, act as the sacred teachings that hold the “keys” to the knowledge of the inner Universe. Its goal are to bring the Asiatic creation up to the higher levels of perfection.

  • Moorish Holy Koran - “Man cannot die; the spirit-man is one with Allah, and while Allah lives man cannot die. When man has conquered every foe upon the plane of soul the seed will have full opened out, will have unfolded in the Holy Breath. The garb of soul will then have served its purpose well, and man will need it never more, and it will pass and be no more and man will then attain unto the blessedness of perfectness and be at one with Allah.”

Man was given Moorish Science, Islam, to comprehend the creations of the Most High, ALLAH, and to perceive the glory? of the Most High, ALLAH, to reach the Throne of Mercy. Hence the specific range of means and methods used in the practice of Moorish Science, which can be quite difficult for understanding, remains as a science for those pure in intent and pure in heart. Moorish Science, by way of the Holy Koran of Mecca and the Moorish Holy Koran, teaches the importance of gaining understanding of the true and pure reality of ALLAH. Reaching this level of consciousness opens a plethora of possibilities for the development of Man.

The expressed teachings of Noble Drew Ali, encoded within the Moorish Holy Koran, lies enlightenment for man, the unique creation of ALLAH. However, it must also be known, that a true Moorish Scientist is not so bold to believe of think that the Moorish Holy Koran is the “only” written tool for self mastery. Many text have been placed before Man for his spiritual development, just as ALLAH have sent many messengers to guide Man toward his/her true destiny. If the adept (you) do not remeber anything else, please “know,” that” Man is doomed to perfection” whether he/she likes it or not.

The Universal Principles That Nourish the Divine Seed in Man: The Synchronicity of Truth

10 01 2007
moors

The divine teachings of Noble Drew Ali encouraged the apprentice and pure seeker of self-mastery to embrace the universal truths that create balance and unity between man and his environment. These natural aspects of infinite wisdom, provided by adept visionaries, sages and prophets, exist as evolutionary guidelines to resolve conflicts and differences for the purpose of spirit evolution and the achievement of the “Oneness of ALLAH.” One of the Moorish keys to knowledge, left in code by Noble Drew Ali, was his statement, “we honor all of the true and divine Prophets: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius.” This statement pointed out the similar aims and mission of the pure and fundamental teachings of the ancient wisdom which encouraged and emphasized a higher consciousness development in Man. The spiritual goal of each divine messenger is the active expression of peace and harmony. This expression, however, is first manifested within one’s self, and then released into the social area of the human existence.

The Ancient Egyptian Buddha: The Ancient Egyptian Origins of BuddhismThis article will display the similarities and teachings of oneness that exist between the true and divine prophets as pointed out by Noble Drew Ali. As previously stated, the keys to understanding are encoded in the ancient and mystic teachings of Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius. Within the sacred sayings and text of these true and divine prophets are the essential elements, themes and methods for spirit progression and mastery. The following passages will display the divine truths that are shared between the four spiritual systems presented by the four teachers that were highlighted by Noble Drew Ali. It is important to demonstrate the universal aspects of these spiritual systems and how the revealed teachings of Noble Drew Ali were in accord with these teachings and not some “hodgepodge” collection of irrational religious ideals. With a complete study of Moorish Science, the “Oneness” of being and the “Oneness” of principle is revealed and engrained within the psyche of the apprentice of self-mastery.

Read and compare the teachings of Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius and encourage your inner being to develop a pattern for seeing the “Oneness” of the ancient wisdom teachings, for the source of all is “One” in nature despite man’s comprehension level, or lack of, regarding the infinite existence of ALLAH. Each principle will express a teaching or saying from the respective spiritual systems that represent Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius; therefore, the principles will be categorized as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Also, the universal wisdom from the Moorish Holy Koran is used to display the universality of the teachings of Noble Drew Ali. As stated in the Moorish Holy Koran, “truth is the only thing that changes not.’

  • Moorish Science - “Truth is the only thing that changes not. In all the world there are two things: the one is truth, the other is falsehood.’

This display of infinite wisdom demonstrates the connectedness humanity has regarding a truth that remains durable, despite man’s attempt to divide and separate the ancient knowledge of “Oneness.” It should now be understood that the common link in man transcends the narrow boundaries of exoteric and mundane religion. The “old time religion” as expressed by Noble Drew Ali represents the nucleus in the web of destiny. Despite man’s attempt to confine that which he truly does not comprehend, Moorish Science shall remain an ever unfolding truth for those prepared for higher consciousness evolution. To conclude this article, the following text from the Moorish Holy Koran shall provide as validation regarding the constantly evolving psyche of man and how the infinite truth of ALLAH ever reveals itself to the blossoming being of spiritual evolution. Remember’.man is doomed to perfection!

Moorish Holy Koran 10:13-25

13. All people worship Allah, the One; but all the people see Him not alike.

14. This universal Allah is wisdom, will and love.

15. All men see not the Triune Allah. One sees Him as Allah of might; another as Allah of thought; another as Allah of love.

16. A man’s ideal is his God, and so, as man unfolds, his God unfolds. Man’s God today, tomorrow is not God.

17. The nations of the earth see Allah from different points of view, and so He does not seem the same to every one.

18. Man names the part of Allah he sees, and this to him is all of Allah; and every nation sees a part of Allah, and every nation has a name for Allah.

19. You Brahmans call Him Parabrahm; in Egypt he is Thoth; and Zeus is His name in Greece, Jehovah is His Hebrew name; but everywhere He is the causeless cause, the rootless root from which all things have grown.

20. When men are afraid of Allah and take Him for a foe, they dress up other men in fancy garbs and call them priests.

21. And charge them to restrain the wrath of Allah by prayers and when they fail to win His favour by their prayers, to buy Him off with sacrifice of animals or birds.

22. When man sees Allah as one with him, as Father Allah, he needs no middle man, no priest to intercede.

23. He goes straight up to Him and says, ‘My Father God, Allah!’ and then he lays his hand in Allah’s own hand, and all is well.

24. And this is Allah. You are, each one, a priest, just for yourself; and sacrifice of blood Allah does not want.

25. Just give your life in sacrificial service to all of life, and Allah is pleased.”

The Occult Chamber of the Heart: The Dwelling Place of ALLAH

4 01 2007
heart

A most important instrument regarding the complex structure of Man is the vehicle termed the heart. The question may arise about the location and functionality of the heart, but just as man struggles with the intricacies of the soul, so he also struggles with understanding the heart center and its reflective qualities? that link to the vibrational device of the mind. The heart instrument, during the sacred evolutionary process that takes place within the womb, is the first to be formed? in the organ structure? of the Asiatic creation. This fact, known by scientists, reveals the mystic truth that the heart is the beginning center of form and is the? location of seed of perfection (spirit) in Man. This dimension of truth suggests that within the depths of the heart center lays the divine spark that animates and connects all in existence and beyond. This is supported by the Moorish teachings that state that the closest place to find ALLAH is within the heart of Man, which represents the deepest and most sacred aspect of Man.

The Sufi Book of Life: 99 Pathways of the Heart for the Modern DervishThrough constant study of self, the Moorish Scientist learns to consider the devotion of the esoteric heart center as the most important place to develop for spiritual realization. This is supported by the ancient parables that teach how? the posession of a? calcified heart center closes Man from ALLAH? because he closes himself from his fellow Man. This is expressed in the Gnostic texts of 1 John 4:20-21 when it says ” “If someone says, “I Love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” As encouraged by the teachings of Noble Drew Ali, the statement of “learn to love instead of hate” has a greater meaning to the adept seeking admittance into the mysteries of higher consciousness evolution.

Love, the primordial substance of eternal life, is not found in any exterior temple of Man on the Earth plane nor does it dwell in the atmospheric heavens above, but it is found in the depths of the inner sanctum sanctorum of Man. The “light of the world” is the Asiatic lantern that burns with the oil of patience, understanding and self-sacrifice. The question then arises, “whom should man love and in what manner should man love?” The action of “Love” is expressed by man’s intent to draw himself/herself closer to the vibration of love, whether it? be through? the love of art, social service, music, the study of nature,? psychology? or the universe. The excuse is first created by an intoxication of feeling or attraction, but with training, guidance, and instruction, that energy is then directed not to the physical entity or expression, but to the underlying nucleus of all that exists: ALLAH.

The Science of LoveThe first lesson, for Man, is the awakening of the heart center and the magnetic flow of its inner expression. This becomes the purification process by which the heart is cleansed, as it exercises the activeness of love and divine intent. The infinite dimensions of the heart acts as a vehicle for the Asiatic creations to see the inner and outer worlds of the hierarchical command ” John 12:2 “In my Father’s house are many mansions…” However, the mystic adept knows, as fact, that the science of the “giving of one’s self” is the ultimate expression of “Love” as the title of “Moslem” is esoterically defined as “one who submits to the Universal Laws of ALLAH through the divine expression of Love;” for how else could one submit to the will of the Most High God, but without first “Loving” ALLAH without the fear of the demise of the ego-self. This is the initiatic state of transforming from “submitting the will of ALLAH” to “becoming the will of ALLAH.” This is the esoteric symbolism of tithing as? there is nothing else to give ALLAH other than yourself.

This “Will” is esoterically revealed in the Quran of Mecca when it says “kun faya kun,” be and it became. This action of the above mentioned? phenomena represents how manifestation came into existence as an answer to the “Will” that expressed itself in the logos of “Be.” This phenomena not only exemplifies the origin of creation, but the “being” of creation and its manifestation (s). That power remains latent within the occult heart chamber of Man: the dwelling place of ALLAH.

Through the study of the spiritual dimensions of psychology, the adept learns to recognize its Overself counterpart, the preexistent higher intelligence within the seven vehicles of the Overself hierarchy. This area in the initiatic experience allows the pure ones to acclimate them selves with the photonic language of geometric programs, which connects the signature frequency of pure love with the many spiritual vehicles working with the divine programs of ALLAH that act as food for the higher vehicles of consciousness. The blossoming process of the mystic rose, in essence, symbolizes the unfolding of the heart center in Man. As Man works upward on onward to his/her hour of graduation, the body of Truth, vibrating to the signature frequency of Ana l’ Haqq, transforms Man into a living scroll of truth, charged with light to be delivered to the throne of ALLAH. This is the purpose of Love.

This is nothing romantic, nothing passive, delicate or weak; but something with divine coordinates to the most powerful, majestic and noble expression in the known and unknown Universe ” this is the “action” of Moorish Science.
