“M.R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen- a Sufi mystic, can best be remembered for his efforts to bring unity through understanding to the faithful of all religions.”

Little is known of his early personal history. Records of his life began in the early 1900’s when religious pilgrims traveling through the jungles of Sri Lanka first caught glimpse of a holy man. They were overwhelmed by the depth of divine knowledge that he imparted.

Sometime later a pilgrim invited him to a nearby village, and with that began his public life as a teacher of wisdom.

Throughout Sri Lanka, people from all religious and ethnic traditions would listen to his public discourses. Many consulted him on how to conduct life’s affairs, including public figures, politicians, the poor, and the learned.

In 1971 Bawa Muhaiyaddeen accepted an invitation to visit the United States. Here, once again, people from all religious, social and ethnic backgrounds would join to hear him speak. Across the United States, Canada and England, he won recognition from religious scholars, journalists, educators and world leaders. The United Nation’s Assistant Secretary General, Robert Muller, asked for Bawa Muhaiyaddeen’s guidance on behalf of all mankind. Time Magazine turned to him for clarification during the hostage crisis in 1980. Thousands more were touched by his wise words when interviewed in Psychology Today, the Harvard Divinity Bulletin, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Pittsburgh Press.

The Job mysteries encourage the initiate to master “Self,” pierce through the veil of illusion and gain active use of the seven divine cosmic principles. Within the scope of the physical components of the earthly experience, the life process as a system of initiation, urges the adept to first learn two universal principles that begins the chrysalis process of higher self fulfillment. These two principles are as follows: 1) the principle of rhythm and 2) the principle of polarity.

ThThe Interior Castlee mastery of these two universal and cosmic principles increases the growth potential of the initiate that undergoes the journey of the Job mysteries. Once completely understood, life as an initiation process begins to make more sense and the initiate then begins to seek greater challenges for greater enlightenment and psycho-spiritual mastery.

The life process can be symbolically observed from the standpoint of a swinging pendulum. If life were to be dissected and manipulated with the understanding that chaos has an origin of order, the initiate could then learn to utilize the seven universal and cosmic principles against one another to produce more definite outcomes in the chaotic expression termed life.

As stated earlier, the life process if viewed as a pendulum swinging in equal measurements to the left and then to the right, one could then grasp the sequences of human existence. This represents the principle of rhythm. This principle states that if the pendulum swings to the left, then it ultimately has to come back to the right in equal distance and in equal time.

The Art of Being and BecomingThe next principle to be mastered is the principle of polarity. This principle teaches that if there is a positive, then there has to be a polar opposite: the negative. Combined, these principles (polarity and rhythm) teach that both good (positive) and evil exist and “will” be experienced in the Rhythms of Time. This principle dictates that the pendulum that swings to the left of negativity has to eventually swing to the right of positivity with equal distance, equal momentum and in equal time. With this understanding of the universal and cosmic principles, the initiate quickly learns that God (Allah) is not the blame for destruction, calamity, the fall of nations, economic hardship and health deficiencies. It is not God, but the universal order of physical existence that has to obey the cosmic and universal principles that govern man and other creations on the Plane of Assiah (plane of manifestation).

Once the adept begins to process these principles and make them a part of their intricate being, thus the mastery of polarity and rhythm, the initiate then moves toward the understanding of the principle cause and effect and subsequently the other four principles that government existence on the Plane of Assiah. Combine these three principles and the concept of Karma begins to take shape.

The ills of life are not personal as man is not singled out by God (Allah). Man in his state of natural growth, must learn to utilize the universal principles for his/her benefit as he/she learns to master self, his/her environment, his/her mind, his/her emotions and his /her vibrational self. Then M.A.N. will learn to be a governor instead of the one being governed.

The Moorish American Prayer (MAP)/Shahadah: The Testimony of the Oneness of Allah (Tawhid)

The Moorish American Prayer represents an acknowledgment of things that exist beyond the realm of physics. The term commonly used to represent this phenomena is “metaphysics.” This word, in connection with the Moorish American Prayer, is a term that is appropriately suited to express the intangibles that lie beyond the elements of nature. Looking at the etymological foundation of the word “physics,” we find that its original meaning is “the science of nature” which encompasses nature in its totality. Hence, the study of the esoteric connection between nature and the “divine,” through a meditation on the Moorish American Prayer, we are then able to divinely see that which lies beyond nature: the knowledge of the Universe and the knowledge of the unlimited-ness that make Allah incomprehensible and indefinable. The five principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice belong to a knowledge that is attained by virtue of metaphysical intuition (Moorish Meta-Psychic Introspection) which leads to an understanding of the vast identity of the universe and the hidden happenings that are beyond the consciousness of mundane man. In accordance with the metaphysical declaration of Allah’s majesty, one could very easily see how the Moorish American Prayer can be seen as a Moorish American “Kalima” or “Shahadah.” The shahadah is usually understood as the utterance of transcendence and distinction of Allah beyond his created realms and orders as also the affirming of the authenticity of Allah’s vice-regents, prophets, holy scripture, angelic hosts, etc. However, the introduction of the first chapter of the Moorish Holy Koran in connection with the Moorish American Prayer symbolize the crowning achievement of true metaphysics and understanding of the being that extend beyond being. From an esoteric islamic standpoint, the metaphysics of great sufi masters, Noble Drew Ali included, is deeply steeped in eastern tradition that is free from the limitations of western minded metaphysics and religious dogma. Those teachings grounded from ancient wisdom envisages Allah as the Essence (al-ahadiyah) and as the Divinity (al-wahidiyah). Allah, the Absolute or Supreme Reality is infinite and boundless; therefore Allah in its absoluteness is beyond human knowledge because finite minds cannot comprehend those things that are infinite. It is only at this stage of true self-realization that the greater aspects of Allah are witnessed as supreme and incomparable. In this phase of spiritual capture the understanding of Unity (al-ahidiyah) is indivisible and is the object of divine knowledge in its self. However, the linear concept of metaphysics has a constricted view that solely rely on reason which often times have difficulty surpassing the idea of being that extends beyond being. This essential limitation has been mainly responsible for the product counterfeit knowledge.

The Moorish “M.A.P.” represents the indivisible One-and-Only which simultaneously is the One-and-All. This is the predominant theme of the metaphysical teachings of Noble Drew Ali that permeates all of his recorded literature. As understood in the depths of Moorish Science, the galactic heavens is a theophany and acts as a divine mirror; however, it does not confront Allah as Allah, but simply provides a symbolic gateway to reach the reality that lies hidden behind the cosmic manifestation. This reality is a hidden manifestation in the form of cosmic dark matter. With this in mind, the cosmos can be likened to an unpolished mirror whereas man can be understood as a polished mirror wherein are manifested all the aspects of existence. Perfect man is a perfect polished mirror knowing self as the royal resource of the absolute source. This level of psychological development is first nurtured in the esoteric foundation of the “M.A.P.” Within the Moorish American Prayer are tools for proclaiming, declaring and perpetuating, not only your national identity, but your indestructible spiritual identity. This prayer, when understood, places the psyche in a constant state of programming and re-programming the words of purity to create a mental state that perpetuates, through action, a testimony of the grandness of Allah with man.

With this in mind, the adept must view, from an esoteric mind-frame, the beginning of the Moorish American Prayer. The beginning of the prayer acknowledges the Absolute as the essence (al-ahidiyah) and as the divinity (al-wahidiyah) which symbolizes the unity of essence and the unity of many-ness respectively for which Allah is used. Hence, there is nothing outside of the Absolute-ness of Allah. The sufic understanding of tawhid expresses this fundamental truth in the form of shahadah:La Ilaha Illa Lah Muhammadun Rasulu’ Llah which is ordinarily understood as I testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. However, from an esoteric and intellectual viewpoint the shahadah means: There is no divinity (or reality, or absolute) outside the only dvinity (or Reality or Absolute)’ and Muhammad is the gateway or mouthpiece, the manifestation, the symbol of that Divnity. It is important to understand that shahadah reprensts the act of testifying or bearing witness; hence if one were to read the Moorish American Prayer as: I testify that Allah is the Father of the Universe, the Father of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice. I testify that Allah is my protector, my guide and my salvation, by night and by day through his holy Prophet: Drew Ali, then it could be understood and seen as shahadah for Moorish Americans with Noble Drew Ali acting as the gateway, mouthpiece and a specific manifestation for a distinguished level of salvation for man to be re-calibrated back with the Divine.

sufiWhen studied fully, the shahadah demonstrates that Allah, the Absolute, is the Real essence and that all things are relative to the Absolute. Tawhid essentially leads to the doctrine of oneness of being (wahdat ul wujud). “Being” then coincides with the Real and there is nothing other than the Real. Therefore no degree of reality stands autonomous a part from the Absolute-ness of Allah. Thus the essential nature of reality is in its origin and the Shahadah acts as a declaration to return to that which you originate; hence, the “journey of origin and return.” In testifying to the one-ness of Allah, the adept then realizes that there is no distinction between the oneness of being (wahdat ul wujud) and the oneness of perception (wahdat al shudud) as it is known that only Allah has the power to perceive Allah. The Moorish American Prayer implies that there is a oneness of being and that also implies a substantial continuity between Allah and the Universe. Therefore, the M.A.P. clearly represents a truth that states that Allah absolutely transcends the realm of substance but also is the guiding light from such a realm of illusion.

Allah: the father of love as expressed in the Moorish American Prayer, represents an aspect of the metaphysics of Love that embraces the divine and human dimensions of the higher self reality. Divine love is both the cause of creation or manifestation of the universe and it is the animating force of the self-manifestation of the Absolute’s perpetuation of being. The divine essence within each Asiatic represent a form of the personal divinity that makes the science of love possible. Man’s love for Allah is his/her commitment to inward progression and outward unification cohesiveness as expressed in tones by the Moorish American Prayer/Shahadah. The science and metaphysics of love embraces the fact that the only place where Allah is to be found is within the heart center of Asiatics. This divine center is the only possible bridge to truly knowing self as the supreme principle is both absolute and infinite and from the latter arises perfection.

The soul has insatiable love and desire for perfection despite the weakness of flesh as perfection and union with Allah is the purpose of salvation. A stagnant existence in the world of illusion and lower self entrapment has no self-subsistent reality as it draws its existence from the soul’s need for perfection as the soul knows that “man is doomed to perfection.” It is a relative nothingness which obstructs the manifestation of perfection by creating a disequilibrium and an internal jihad that takes place between the lower self and the higher self. Therefore, the supreme reality by being infinite in nature expresses the potentiality in man: born as a perfected seed yet to be recognized by it as flesh and finite mind. The supreme principle lies within the sovereign power of man’s essential nature. Allah alone is perfection but Allah is also the source of perfection. The problem of evil arises due to the reality of universal manifestation as evil has no subsistent reality. It is a privation having no being in itself and once a Moor has declared and proclaimed there allegiance to Allah and Allah’s power, then Moors, by virtue, act as fearless and upright beings in the plane of manifest. By process of cosmic cycles, Moors proactively evolve as they force the cycles of imbalance to return back to its initial source from which it is an illusion or shadow of: Aught. The absolute primordial essence is indefinable and as Asiatic’s meditate on the prayer and testimony that leads them into the realm of pure manifestation, they evolve into the teachers and guides of humanity, uplifting those that have fallen as they (Moors) will become the “living” Will of Allah manifested on the plane called Assiah. Only then will light be perceived as its self in man; giving rise to the perpetual lesson that “none knows Allah but Allah.”

It is the essential nature of that which is divine, the absolute, to manifest itself and it is also by virtue that the essentiality of creation that the cosmos comes into existence which is the shadow of the Absolute, that man’s spiritual blue-print is realized. Regarding the spirit of freedom, man possesses within him/herself a “Will” that presses pass the boundaries of normality. This Will is the spirit substance that remains intangible and transparently luminous by virtue of the spirit’s unveiled presence of the of Light of the Absolute in which Freedom itself is Unlimited. Freedom is beyond being as freedom encompasses the evolution of Allah’s creations in its totality otherwise there would be no need for the intangible force of Will. At the level of pure essence, there is absolute freedom for there is no limitation on growth as the possibilities of man are infinite as Allah is infinite. At this level of being, which is the principle of spiritual evolution, man clears the mist from the mirror only to have clear vision of destiny and capabilities. Freedom in itself has no opposite but form manifestation is in its given constraint. However, this is surpassed when man realizes that Allah’s essence in man has no limitation nor can it be bound by illusion.

In conclusion, the Moorish American Prayer is truly a MAP for Asiatics to find themselves while also revealing the difference between the exoteric and esoteric meaning of universal knowledge. For the purpose of psycho-spiritual development, a transition exists between prayer as ritual and as a spiritual unveiling for both personal and universal truth. A large percentage of Moors in America know the Moorish American Prayer by heart, signifying the fact that we have, indeed, mastered the ritual aspect of prayer, but what of the esoteric and metaphysical nature and experience of the M.A.P.? Through an active approach of Moorish Science, we develop a unification of “Will” that is in harmony with Allah’s “Will” and grand plan. This level of “Will” manifestation urges man to be sincere in desire, thought, concentration, contemplation, and meditation as he/she learns to speak to their higher self which naturally encourages growth in awareness and selflessness towards others within their community, and eventually to “the uplifting of fallen humanity.” Therefore, with knowledge of Moorish Science comes the natural aspects of responsibility and accountability. Once one becomes more knowledgeable about spiritual affairs and happenings, they then begin to see greater consequences in what may seem small or insignificant to others. Finally, the closing of the M.A.P. and the usage of the word “Amen,” signifies that which is concealed, hidden or esoteric in nature. Noble Drew Ali left, in code, an encrypted message that would ignite the psyche(s) of the developing Moorish American(s). In utilizing the final word of the Moorish American “Kalima,” the Moorish mind shall find the greatest of all treasures: Allah within and the Aught of “Self.” The M.A.P. introduced Allah as the “father of the Universe,” but concluded with Allah as the “Hidden” symbolizing Man’s eternal quest for perfection and oneness with Allah while on his/her journey of “Origin and Return.”

Understanding the divine methodology and esoteric instruction encoded within the Moorish American Prayer is to awaken and perpetuate the divine destiny of the Moors in Northwest Amexem. The coded message urges Moors to know that the science of the ancients were not merely for the past, but are brought forth in the eternal presence of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice for our lifetime and in fulfillment of our current destiny and mission: Uplifting Fallen Humanity. Since the introduction of the Moorish Holy Koran to the Asiatics of the Americas, we have seen the signs, not only of greater spiritual intelligence, but also through the use of scientific measurements that has helped fallen humanity understand and validate the reality of an infinite and non-anthropomorphic Higher Intelligence that has been long referenced by the prophets of Allah since the beginning of man’s great fall. This intelligence is unfolding and revealing aspects of the future that will manifest on the planet Earth and throughout this solar system as Asiatics collectively make positive change to bring us through our own apocalyptic moment in history, where we become the “masterminds” ascending upward toward the oneness of Allah.

Moors were left the blueprints of how the spiritual and the scientific consciousness would merge to create an order of masterminds, a unification of Eastern and Western thought centralized to awaken the Overself for the meta-programming that would regenerate the need and the atmosphere for balance; the Oneness of the Asiatic’s in the plane of manifest. No matter how difficult it has been in the past for Asiatics to work together, we will soon master the ability to overcome our limited circumstances and rise to the occasion and see why we are a part of the greater destiny and mission within the great universal drama that is manifesting throughout the Cosmos. This great order and system has called us together to be submerged with the consciousness power of the circle and the seven which represents the eventual collective transformation of the inhabitants of the plane termed Assiah.

manmeditationAs we mature in “Aught”, it will become necessary for Moors to recognize the potential for divine instruction that is already embedded within each and everyone of us. There will also be a collective transmission revealed from the genetic blueprint that will be handed down to us through the many sacred scriptures that have been misunderstood for thousands of years by the masses. As esoterically stated by Noble Drew Ali, we are to start with a holistic vision of the Father and our little planet surrounded by a Hierarchy of angelic instructors to unfold the symbolic meaning behind the experience called Life that is connected with not only one but with many evolutions within the grand architecture of Allah’s great mansion. As we develop in our Love and understanding of the higher worlds, we will be blessed with experiencing the higher gifts from the mind of “Aught” and we shall also realize that what many call mysticism is, in truth, scientific reality. These scientific realities are the openings of the inner and outer boundaries of our own bio-spiritual and psychic evolution, whereby we graduate into a firsthand experience of a higher dimensional data uploading. We then will become the masterminds that transcend the entropy of the plane of manifest.

The great challenge that stands before us now involves the fabric of humanity and how the family of nations can take upon themselves to improve their work ethic for the purpose of shifting the entire planetary consciousness toward a path of transmutation. This great path prepares humanity for the greater changes that will involve the entirety of the Earth that will come with the activation of new consciousness realities. Following the encoded scripture of the Moorish Holy Koran and other sacred and divine text, a tremendous amount of changes will solidify that science and much of the mass’ orientation to spiritual philosophy and psychology will become transparent and mundane; and because of the domestication and conditionings of education, religion and responsibility, those who are unprepared and stubborn toward inner growth will make strong attempts to modify their appearance rather than their minds to blend into the collective.

Unfortunately, the shifting of the state of an uncultured western civilization will be understood only by a limited amount of Asiatics who are genuinely prepared to make changes and endure limitless encounters with mass ignorance. Most are not mentally prepared to take on the greater responsibility to make real sacrifices to bring about a plan of co-operation through Love for fallen humanity unless his or her own reality structure is in crisis where a change must occur for their benefit. However, the masterminds or greater evolution, in subtle ways, are making themselves known to the Asiatic communities throughout the planet in an orientation phase that is mystic and non-traditional in nature.

Many Moors have asked “where and when will the real changes take place?” However, as expressed on the nationality cards of the Moorish Amercians, they will take place in all major regions of the planet to reveal the uniting power which express the divine meaning of Islam: the divine manifestation of the will of Allah to unite Assiah. Afterwards, all major institutions of structure and control will become servants to the federated collective of conscious and proactive Asiatics. Therefore we must be aware, however, that until the structure of duality is broken, whenever the higher self manifests, the lower-self also tries to make a simultaneous appearance to fight for its own existence; a perpetual conflict will exist to divert attention and to also separate effort from a unified mission.

Whenever and where ever the expression of Islam is present, then chaos and its agents work hard to gain control over the minds and bodies of the inhabitants of Assiah: the plane of manifest. It is up to us to destroy the jihad between the higher and lower selves, by changing the way we think and act toward each other as we also work to live by being examples, demonstrating at all times the behavior of a conscious Asiatic that has Allah as his/her protector, guide and salvation. We must demonstrate how we as individuals, as well as a collective force, can work together as a fellowship of national and planetary citizens; this act will make it clear that we can work as a cosmic citizenship with the higher masterminds within the hierarchies of Allah.

Then what must be our basic groundwork? It is revealed in the Moorish American prayer and the five divine principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice. In the beginning phase, we must be able to reflect a divine and balanced system of communion ” to demonstrate and express the five divine principles with the living and eternal father of the universe and the mother of virtues, to share the work loads of the circle and the seven that extends the eternal love across space and time, through the divine power of the oneness of Allah. We, thus, are to see ourselves as part of the higher family of nations working for the process and progress of the universe.

In the next phase we must take upon ourselves the act of self-reflection, private prayer, creative visualization and meditation that can be applied also with sacred music and the greater harmonics, in developing not a self-centered, but a collective language that encourages the evolution of the mind and humanity as a whole. The third phase we should occupy ourselves with is the sacred teachings from the ancients who also experienced Allah directly, who experienced the active presence of the divine working through them. In studying these teachings, we strengthen the constitution of our higher selves while also reflecting on our own guiding principles as gateways to higher knowledge. Also, realize that the divine did not go into hiding, but continued to work with and through the selfless servants that left the blue-prints to inner-dimensional doors of perception.

The fourth phase states that we should share and work to understand each other’s perspective as it relates to the mission statement of “uplifting fallen humanity.” We are to be as active pillars of strength and light, reflecting a spiritual and cultural experience, while maintaining the guiding principles within ourselves. We must transcend beyond the personality games and share in the greater goal of experiencing unity, accepting the Light as it works in all our brothers and sisters without condemnation, but with divine discernment. Hence we share in the greater goals of learning to share with the family of nations as it extends to new worlds.

The final phase challenges us to reflect upon positive thinking and healing through Allah’s holy prophet: Drew Ali. We must be a part of that small percent that will “always” choose to be chosen ” who will always choose to think positively and search for answers and to problem solve rather than remain in constant conflict with humanity choosing to be in the negative unconscious. This is a reflection of our spiritual endowment that we possess which allows us to interact more meaningfully and more intelligently with others.

As we work to uplift fallen humanity, we must recognize that there are Asiatic workers in each quarter of the earth, the broken circle, that have come together to harness their energies, to activate the grids of ancient knowledge, of technical knowledge, of higher knowledge so that the totality of Allah’s civilizations and citizenry alike can manifest the light on planet Earth. Thus, as we see the challenge before us, we must rise to the occasion as leaders of the new world just as we did in the old.

In these phases of salvation, we shall find ourselves as cosmic catalysts preparing for a great work of connecting the beginning and end of history! We are the Moors destined to build an educational infrastructure through the achievements of a deeper knowledge. With the divine instructions left behind by Allah’s servants, we will be putting together the basic building blocks for the opening of the higher faculties of the mind. The Left side of the mind will be quickened and consciously integrated with the Right side to unite the hemispheres for a great merging of the male and female mind. This will give us the ability to see the sacred geometric codes as light and sound. This level of learning will come through as ideographic cybernetics and not through linear sentence structures. As evolved master minds, we shall learn through color, the subtle colors of a new consciousness physics, and not as consciousness blocking black and white reality structures.

Thus, we must experiment with new teaching alternatives for the up and coming Asiatic youth which will contribute toward the development of their mind and their ability to interact with the environment through visual/sound stimuli. The intellectual capacities of normal human beings are so incomplete in their development that there must occur an increased ability to reach deeper into the creative consciousness of the mind and to bring out the spiritual capacity of seeing on higher levels of consciousness.

It is clear, that those who work with the higher forms of meditation and visualization are going through a bio-spiritual mutation that is shaped by the very thought-forms of new language. The difference in this language is in the way that information is going to be received and processed by the tri-brain using additional membrane unfoldment. Language will then have a deeper implication for it is language through color and visualization having living content and experience expressed omnidirectionality in all directions that will permeate the higher regions of psyche to produce thought and abilities that surpass the greater 10 percent of man’s current potential.

Along with a heightened sense of learning and being, the Asiatic’s must development the ability to discern, from a justice perspective, right from wrong, positive and negative regarding intelligences that deal with the externalization of the hierarchy of the divine. In terms of discernment, one has to develop the understanding of the higher elements of prophecy that warn us of wars that will take place also in the heavens.

In summary, let us as Moors, Moslems and Asiatcs, think of ourselves like the Gnostics, preparing the encoded scrolls, coming together to develop a community, working together in the greater fellowship of Allah. Let us embrace the missions of the higher priesthoods and orders that reflect the sacred and higher science of the universe, with the understanding that we are the guides with Allah as our guide; the protectors with Allah as our protector and revealers of salvation with Allah being our salvation. Let us be aware of our own deep introspection into the levels of higher consciousness that are necessary. Even in our daily and mundane activities, we should continue to ponder on the intricacies of the divine through his prophets, scriptures and mysteries.

We shall recognize that the keys to the future mean that the galactic doors will open for those that have an open and uncalcified heart chakra, the key that connects our planet with the higher heavens. Ultimately, these are the principles that will allow us to enter into the book (tree/teru) of life which is our central focal point of the work and unity of consciousness in the higher worlds of Light. Thus as spiritual pioneers, we must not look simply at the externals, but rather to the point of the inner-mind where we shift our own mind frequency. We must also work with the internalization of the word of Allah and build up the light within ourselves, through the power of the logos and the music of the soul. Then will we actively work as a spiritual synergy in the worlds of Allah. Then we can begin to activate the energy grids of the planet which are connected to the untapped mental energies and then we will also know how to handle the energy imbalances of the psychological and psychic realms that take place on the planet at the expense of true wisdom.

The Holy Mystery of Life: Experiencing the (Biblical) Job Mysteries

When man has conquered every foe upon the plane of soul the seed will have full opened out, will have unfolded in the Holy Breath. The garb of soul will then have served its purpose well, and man will need it never more, and it will pass and be no more and man will then attain unto the blessedness of perfectness and be at one with Allah.” - The Moorish Holy Koran

In this lesson of the “You are Job” series, we shall process how the Job mysteries act as a spiritualized educational system to help the inner entity or the “I” essence define itself without becoming subordinate to titles, positions and status that inflate the lower self or “ego” into grandiose states of illusion. The purpose of the Job mysteries is to develop more attuned beings instead of fictitious and empty human shells with scant human personas. An example of this can be found amongst the paragons of “etiquette” that exemplify excellence, but lack spiritual content while being alienated from divine purpose. They avoid the urge and desire to voyage the depths of their inner being, only to concern themselves with the robotics and flow of a conditioned society.

The Job Mysteries force MAN to abandon his servitude to illusion. No longer are titles, positions and status the ideal of existence, but the relinquishing of mechanical spiritless being now becomes the focus and aim. The human apprentice begins to manifest the concept of being instead of the concept of having. In the “Book of Job,” Job begins as a man of material substance, but his inner being is shuffled, antagonized, tortured and “raked of over the coals.” This process acted as a type of educational system (initiation) to purge Job of the superfluous ego based materials that clouded or veiled his energetic connection and mission of self mastery and divine attunement.

The Job Mysteries suggest that MAN presents himself before the divine in nakedness to display his purity and absence of doubt and contradiction. In the Masonic mysteries this purity is symbolized by the pure white (unsoiled) lamb cloth that covers the genitalia. As Job was entitled blameless and upright, it was this spirit grounded universal education system that forced him to earn his vibration of “being” instead of his title of “having.”

The Job Mysteries are the conquering of the Higher Self over the lower self. We now know that education is the process of extracting the best from within not the introduction of that which is without.
