Self Utilization: The Key to Moorish Economic Empowerment (Pt.1)
23 06 2008
We must understand that a successful social and economic power structure as well as the upward progress of a nation is a direct result of the favorable dynamic combinations of Moorish intellectual resources. The Moorish economy and social power structure lies within the appropriate use of its Asiatic resources, its psycho-social capital, and the character of the consciousness of its national citizens. Above all, the forces that coordinate and amplify these factors are the shared identity and free national standards of an upright and productive people.
It has been noted repeatedly, in previous articles, that Moorish Americans have all of the appropriate resource utilities of a stand alone nation-within-a-nation. While compared to the current power-holder’s vast national and international resource pool, Moorish American resources may appear meager; however, we must re-evaluate our ability to create innovative products and develop a mindset that create conditions for growth and prosperity. We must realize that Moorish Americans have successfully created resources and products for others that generate wealth and a continuous flow of income while practically being mostly unconscious of our fundamental Moorish identity.
This can be evidenced by the music industry. Although the music is created by Asiatics, jobs are created to market the product, package the product, distribute the product, manage the creator of the product, manage the company that financially backs the product and its creator, generate greater income by the use of the product and the artist to market other merchandise and companies and the list goes on. These jobs are generated from the artist and his/her intellectual property. This process can be duplicated within the confines of the Moorish community. A persistent and refined methodology for success will facilitate the organized utilization of our potential while magnifying our identity which positively reveals the true value of this ancient and unique people, Moorish Americans, as an operative nation with world-class possibilities and abilities for self governance. As demonstrated above, a valued product can produce an environment for growth, new development and social stability.
Remember, the acorn is not yet an oak, but the beginnings as the absolute fundamental of essential design. So too are the initial and immediate resources that will become the economic and human resources of a powerful people. The Moorish American community that is centered with an industrious work ethic, guided by the highest ideals of nationhood, Moorish ancestral genius and socio-economic power seeded as a driving force, can easily grow into the might oak is was programmed to be.
The Moorish American, after 1929, subconsciously retained a state of powerlessness not because it lacked monetary or human resources, but because there was no clear and cohesive vision of a social, political and greed-less economic structure despite the blueprint for success being left for re-engineering. Moorish Americans often consciously and/or sub-consciously perpetuated the perception and concept of a dominant ethnic power other than themselves. This perpetuated frame of mind allowed Moors to remain politically and economically weak as their was no aggressive plan of action nor were contingency plans in place in case of failure.
If Moors are to transform their current state and status, a change from the perception that individual Moors are a conglomeration and aggregation of individuals bonded together simply by a commonality in socio-political oppression, legal victimization, historical slander and economic disposition. Instead, Moors must develop an undying aim to embody the idea that they are united by a Moorish consciousness and identity and a proactive mind state that is willing to work together to change the nature of their current social position. This can only happen when Moors become sick and tired of watching others with less gain more in less time. However, the defining factors that determine success for the previously mentioned group “X” is their desire for change, their drive for an improved social status and an insatiable thirst for a new reality. The same attributes exist amongst Moors in the Moorish community; however, a drastic change in the willingness to unite must become of paramount importance.
By destroying other’s perception that Moors, conscious and unconscious, are a dependent and unorganized people, Moors can represent themselves as a nation-within-a-nation contributing toward creating a collective consciousness which will reflectively contribute to the productive reality of a eventual nation-state that re-shapes and redefines the social world concept of present Moors. In this phase of being, Moors begin to write history again and determine what is real and what will be omitted into the halls of naught. However, the Moorish American community must first recognize the economic and political practicality of representing themselves as a nation and not some dis-organized group perpetuating chaos within their own realm which feeds the beast that perpetuates disposition.
Once Moors invest “only” in themselves, even if the investments were modest initially, Moors would notice a great increase in earnings, socio-political power and economic leverage to further build and increase power. This economic leverage also allows Moors to better prepare themselves for disaster as they would have the necessary tools and supplies to maintain their existence as during a time of chaos and disaster, self preservation ( from a national identity standpoint) will be overt and obvious in times of survival. With a heavier investment in Moorish activity, business, in general commerce and international trade, social position and status could dramatically change as these factors could multiply a thousand fold. However, this would require a more “National Identity” consciousness and orientation on the part of the Moorish American community. This would require the Moorish community to “tax” themselves by spending more with themselves. This self “taxation” would allow Moorish owned businesses to increase earnings, employment, better contribute to community institutions and to the economic and social improvement of the Moorish American community as a whole.
