It is the Duty of every conscious and loving Moorish American / Moorish Scientist to study and re-study themselves and the ancient text of this plane of existence; them namely being the Moorish Holy Koran, the Holy Qur’an, the Torah, the Injiyl and the many other holy scripts that contain divine guidance and instruction, to gain spiritual insight and greater perception with his/her own capacity of divine understanding. With the aims of attaining a greater degree of knowledge while in contemplation and reflection, the adept must then utilize their outer and inner enlightened experience to instruct others while sharing with them the vision and the concepts of higher thought patterns for the understanding of Allah’s greater plan which resulted from intense contact with the finer planes of vibration. Every spiritual instruction manual, especially the Moorish Holy Koran, the Qur’an of Mecca, the Injiyl and the Torah, after being read and studied with the intuitive faculties and with spirit guided intellect; the adept learns the path to Unity, self mastery and the Throne of Mercy (sarir al-rahmaniyya). The initiate seeking admittance in the science of Allah “Unity” and the mysteries of self mastery is required to study all of the ancient and sacred text sent to the Earth plane to ensure that a greater understanding of Allah is attained as opposed to partial knowledge of the great and universal creator: Allah. This divine concept is supported by the Moorish Holy Koran - 10:18 “Man names the part of Allah he sees, and this to him is all of Allah; and every nation sees a part of Allah, and every nation has a name for Allah.” To ensure a full and wholistic understanding of the primordial science of Allah, man “must” study “all” of the scriptures, in full, to solidify an all encompassing vision of the coordinates to Allah. This is further validated in the Holy Qur’an of Mecca in the following degrees:

  • The Holy Qur’an Surah 3:3 “It is He who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, Confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus).”
  • The Holy Qur’an Surah 3:84 “Say: We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham (Suhuf-i-Ibrahim), Ishmail, Issac, Jacob, and the tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses (Torah), Jesus (Al Injiyl), and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no destinction betwee one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam).”

The Philosophy of IlluminationThe following text represent insight into the primordial science of the “Upright” - that ancient and original science that existed prior to idols and forms. Man is on an upward and inward ascension to Allah and is “doomed to perfection” for Allah is his/her destiny. Read the following passages to gain greater understanding regarding 1) the journey of origin and return and 2) the universality of the degrees of Allah.

THE INTRODUCTORY COMMENTARY OF THE HOLY QUR’AN

“Glory to Allah Most High, full of Grace and Mercy; He created all, including Man. To Man He gave a special place in His Creation. He honored man to be His Agent, and to that end, endured him with understanding. Purified his affections, and gave spiritual insight; so that man should understand Nature, understand himself, and know Allah through His wondrous Signs, and glorify Him in Truth, reverence, and unity.

For the fulfillment of this great trust, Man was further given Will, so that his acts should reflect Allah’s universal Will and Law, and his mind, freely choosing, should experience the sublime joy of being in harmony with the Infinite, and with the great drama of the world around him, and with his own spiritual growth.

But, created though he was in the best of molds, man fell from unity when his Will was warped, and he chose the crooked path of discord; and sorrow and pain, selfishness and degradation, ignorance and hatred, despair and unbelief poisoned his life, and he saw shapes of evil in the physical, moral and spiritual world, an in himself.

Then did his soul against himself, and his self-discord made discord between kith and kin: Men began to fear the strong and oppress the weak, to boast in prosperity, and curse in adversity; and to flee each other, pursuing phantoms, for the truth and reality of Unity was gone from their minds.

When men spread themselves over the Earth, and became many nations, speaking diverse languages, and observing customs and laws; the evils became multiplied, as one race of nations became alienated from another. The brotherhood of Man was now doubly forgotten – First, between individuals, and secondly, between nations. Arrogance, selfishness, and untruth were sown and reaped in larger fields; and Peace, Faith, Love and Justice (Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice) were obscured over masses of men, as larger tracts of land were starved of sunshine by clouds floating far on high.

But Allah, in his infinite mercy and love, who forgives and guides individuals and nations, and turns to good even what seems to us evil, never forsakes the struggling soul that turns to Him, nor the groups of men and women who join together to obey His Will and Law, and strengthen each other in unity and truth, nor the nations that dwell in mountain and valley, heat and cold, in regions fertile or arid, in societies that roam over land or seas, or hunt, tend to flock, or till the soil, or seek the seas for food or oil or fat or gems, or dig our from the bowels of the Earth precocious stones or metals or stored-up heat and energy, or practice arts and crafts, or produce abundant wealth by machines of ingenious workmanship, or live a frugal life of contemplation: for all are creatures of One God, and share His loving care and must be brought within the pale of His eternal unity and harmony.

And so this light of eternal Unity has shone in all ages and among all nations, through chosen Messengers of Allah, who came as men to dwell among men, to share their joys and sorrows, to suffer for them and with them – Aye, and to suffer more than falls to ordinary mortal lot – that so their message and their life might fulfill the eternal and unchanging purpose of the Most High – to lead man to his noblest destiny.

Ever this eternal light of Unity, this mystic light of Allah’s own will, has shone and shines with undiminished splendor. The names of many messengers are inscribed in the records of many nations and many tongues, and many were the forms in which their message was delivered, according to the needs of them times and the understanding of the people; and manifold were the lives of the Messengers, and manifold also was the response of their people; but they all witness the One Truth: of Allah’s unity, might, grace and love.

As the records of man are imperfect, and the memory of man unstable: the names of many of these messengers are known in one place and not in, or among one people and not among others; and some of their names may have perished utterly; but their message stands one and indivisible, even though it may have been forgotten, or twisted by ignorance, error, superstition or perversity; or misunderstood in the blinding light of time or tortuous circumstances.

Many were the faiths in the composite world of Western Asia, Northern Africa and Europe, and many were the fragments of ancient wisdom, saved, transformed, renewed, or mingled; and many new streams of wisdom were poured through the crucibles of noble minds – prophets, poets, preachers, philosophers, and thinking men of action; and many were the conflicts, and may the noble attempts reaching out towards Unity, and many were the subtle influences interchanged with the other worlds of further and Eastern Asia - Aye, and perchance with the scattered Isles of the Pacific and the world between the Atlantic and the Pacific.

At length came the time when the Voice of Unity should speak and declare to the people; without the need of Priests or Priest-craft, without miracles except those that happen now and always in the spiritual world, without mystery, except those mysteries which unfold themselves in the growing inner experience of man and his vision of Allah – to declare with an unfaltering voice the Unity of Allah, the Brotherhood of Man, and Grace and Mercy, Bounty and Love, Poured out in unstinted measure forever and ever….” - From the Introductory Commentary of the Holy Qur’an

THE MOORISH HOLY KORAN (CHAPTER 1)

“Time never was when man was not.” If life of man at any time began, a time would come when it would end. “The thoughts of Allah cannot be circumscribed. No finite mind can comprehend things infinite. All finite things are subject unto change. All finite things will cease to be because there was a time when they were not.” The bodies and the souls of men are finite things, and they will change, yea, from the finite point of view the time will come when they will be no more. “But man himself is not the body, nor the soul; he is a spirit and a part of Allah.” Creative Fate gave to man, to spirit-man, a soul that he might function on the plane of soul; gave him a body of the flesh, that he might function on the plane of things made manifest. Why did creative Fate give to spirit-man a soul that he might function on the plane of soul? Why did creative Fate give to soul a body of the flesh that he might function on the plane of things that are made manifest?

[”Hear, now, ye worlds, dominions, powers and thrones!]

Hear, now, ye cherubim, ye seraphim, ye angels and ye men!

“Hear, now, oh protoplast, and earth, and plant and beast!

“Hear, now, ye creeping things of earth, ye fish that swim, ye birds that fly!

“Hear, now, ye winds that blow, ye thunders and ye lightnings of the sky!

“Hear, now, ye spirits of the fire, of water, earth, and air!

“Hear, now, oh everything that is, or was, or evermore will be, for Wisdom speaks from out of the highest plane of spirit life:

“Man is a thought of Allah; all thoughts of Allah are infinite; they are not measured up by time, for things that are concerned with time, begin and end.

“The thoughts of Allah are the everlasting of the past unto the never ending days to come. And so is man, the spirit-man.

“But man like every other thought of Allah, was but a seed, a seed that held within itself the potencies of Allah, just as the seed of any plant of earth holds deep within itself the attributes of every part of that especial plant.

“So spirit-man, as seed of Allah held deep within himself the attributes of every part of God.

The Elixir of the Gnostics: A parallel English-Arabic text (Islamic Translation Series)“Now, seed are perfect, yea, as perfect as the source from which they come; but they are not unfolded into life made manifest. The child is as perfect as the mother is. So man, the seed, must be deep planted in a soil that he might grow, unfold, as does the bud unfold to show the flower. The human seed that came forth from the heart of Allah was full ordained to be the Lord of plane of soul, and of the plane of things made manifest. So Allah, the husbandman of every thing that is, threw forth this human seed into the soil of soul; it grew apace, and man became a living soul; and he became the Lord of all the kingdom of the soul. Hark, now, let every creature hear, the plane of soul is but the ether of the spirit plane vibrating not so fast, and in the slower rhythm of this plane the essences of life are manifest; the perfumes and the odors, the true sensations and the all of love are manifest.

“And these soul attributes become a body beautiful. A multitude of lessons man must learn upon the plane of soul; and here he tarries many ages until his lessons are all learned. Upon the boundary of the plane of soul, the ether began to vibrate slower still and then the essences took on a final garb; the perfumes and the odors and the true sensations and the all of love were clothed in flesh; and man was clothed in flesh. Perfected man must pass through all the ways of life, and so a carnal nature was full manifest, a nature that sprang forth from fleshly things. Without a foe a soldier never knows his strength, and thought must be developed by the exercise of strength. And so this carnal nature soon became a foe that man must fight, that he might be the strength of Allah made manifest. Let every living thing stand still and hear! Man is the Lord of all the plane of manifest, of protoplast, of mineral, of plant, of beast, but he gave up his birthrights, just to gratify his lower self. But man will regain his lost estate, his heritage; but he must do it in a conflict that cannot be told in words. Yea, he must suffer trials and temptations manifold; but let him know that cherubim and seraphim that rule the stations of the sun and spirit of the mighty Allah who rule the solar stars are his protectors and his guide, and they will lead to victory. Man will be fully saved, redeemed, perfected by the things he suffers on the plane of flesh, and on the plane of soul. When man has conquered carnal things his garb of flesh will then have served its purpose well and it will fall; will be no more.

“Then he will stand untrammeled on the plane of soul where he must full complete his victories. Unnumbered foes will stand before man upon the plane of soul; these he must overcome, yea, overcome them every one. Thus hope will ever be his beacon light; there is no failure for the human soul, for Allah is leading on and victory is sure.

“Man cannot die; the spirit-man is one with Allah, and while Allah lives man cannot die. When man has conquered every foe upon the plane of soul the seed will have full opened out, will have unfolded in the Holy Breath. The garb of soul will then have served its purpose well, and man will need it never more, and it will pass and be no more and man will then attain unto the blessedness of perfectness and be at one with Allah.” - From the Moorish Holy Koran

All of the ancient and sacred scritpure: Suhuf-i-Ibrahim (The Pure Pages), Torah (5 Books of Moses), Az Zabur (Book Of Psalms), Al Hikmah (Book of Wisdom), Al Injiyl (Gospel/Revelations), and Al Qur’an act as a guide, science and gateway to the “many and one” universes of higher intelligence that serve Allah. The ancient scriptures are the revealed science of light that work in direct service to the hierarchies and theophanies of Aught within Allah’s continuum. With great and intense study, the adept of the sacred scriptures of light is translated into the higher thought frequencies where he/she is uploaded with the knowledge, wisdom and discernment of the heavenly codes that are to be transmitted to other Asiatic Creations.

Moors - study everything and all aspects of life as “everything is everything and everthing is of the essence of Allah.”

Free National Standards and Power as Instruments of Social Progress and Development

25 01 2007
moorishwomen

Free National Standards (Values) act as an essential element in the development of an individual’s conscious view of himself and his world. Values are the standards by which an individual or nation determine what is acceptable, appropriate, important, worthy and honorable. These standards help to regulate behavior and guide conscious development. The maintenance of a strict and pertinent system of values involves the determination of decisions, decisions that not only influence the behavioral activities and group functionality, but more importantly helps to mold the individual’s character and the direction of his/her physical life cycle. However, it must also be understood, that values, in connection with the consciousness which they (values) help to direct and guide, act as instruments of progression, self preservation and the establishment of a strong and powerful self-concept. Since values, like consciousness, are largely taught and expressed through socialization, it must be realized that they also create and influence the cultural, educational, psycho-spiritual and life experiences of the individual and how they interact, perceive and operate in a social environment. Therefore, the degree of psychological development, self-motivation and self-control an individual or group exercises under the influence of standards, is directly correlated to the degree to which his/her functional values are intrinsically or extrinsically demonstrated, generated and/or activated.

Divine Governance of the Human Kingdom, Including What the Seeker Needs and The One AloneTo understand how one’s social power is determined can best be displayed by the following example: If group (A) determines the values and identity of group (B), the behavior and values then become influenced and controlled which then determines the degree of development that can be achieved by the controlled group, which in this case is group (B). This process of control allows group (A) to maintain, retain and exercise greater control and power over group (B). This level of control creates the illusion that group (B) is in control of their own actions and destiny when in reality, group (A) is socially controlling the behavior and direction of group (B) the entire time. However, the origination and control over one’s own value system and interests lead to greater freedom in direction, thought and progress, but a system of strict and detailed standards must first be followed, in mass, to solidify forward progress and movement.

Cultural values and standards are the means by which a group capture and accomplish greater degrees of self-control, which is a level of control that is directed and governed by its own established standards and guidelines. As stated in the “National” teachings of Noble Drew Ali, free national standards and identity represent a form of social control and as such, is a form of social power; a means by which an organized citizenry gain power over their own affairs, themselves and their direction, in order to achieve select and desired results. However, it can be easily concluded, that to achieve a deep rooted and operative social control over any select group of people, they have to be disconnected from their identity which directly links to language, values, morals, character development and consciousness. The ridding of these essential elements allows for an implementation of a subordinate culture and value system that is in accordance with someone else’s spiritual, economic, social and/or political interests. This degree of psychological control is termed Mental Slavery, for how could someone know if another has stolen their mind, if the other generates and control the thoughts that the other is thinking and the behavior that they are exhibiting. Therefore, it is paramount that a group of people function from their own system of values, standards and directives if they plan to control their destiny, direction and consciousness development for centuries and generations to come.

The Death of American Empire: Neo-conservatism, Theocracy, Economic Imperialism, Environmental Disaster and the Collapse of CivilizationAs documented in the Moorish Literature, its not money that make a nation, but free national standards and power that make a nation. However, Asiatics have been trained to value things manufactured and marketed by others than themselves, thereby enriching and empowering others while impoverishing and disempowering themselves. The Moorish value system must be honored and respected, Moors, consciousness and unconscious, must begin to demonstrate an operational system of strict values which empower and enrich their social, economic and political standing as a nation of value and standard oriented people. Thus, to the degree that the functional values that determine Moorish / Asiatic behavior are truly Moorish centered, to that degree Moors become self-controlling, self-empowering while simultaneously liberating themselves from foreign domination and exploitation.

The attributes of strength and highly developed consciousness levels determine the character and behavior of a people. These attributes of strength and personal integrity act as standards for structure which define the needs, values and interests which determine skill, behavioral and psycho-spiritual achievement. The functionality of a high degree of motivation, consciousness, and skill validates how the ability of a cohesive group can impact and change its relation to the world and thereby change the social order and power structure. The strength and consciousness of a cohesive group deeply depends on the degree to which the citizenry / members remain and display loyalty to its values, remain committed to its survival and progress, and increase the degree to which the citizenry / members demonstrate an ability to work together to defend themselves against the negative influences and intentions of others while simultaneously achieving their mission, aims and goals. This level of cohesiveness is determined by the degree to which the group’s citizenry / members learn to find common standards in measure that increase “Oneness,” cohesive interactions, proactive movement and a dismissal of differences to achieve a common mission and goal. Thus the statement, “love instead of hate” applies for the sake of progress and survival. Once observed in close proximity, the common standard of measure is 1) the free national name of Moorish American and 2) the Moorish Holy Koran. These national and divine “standards of measure” are the tools by which the Moors shall stand as one unified entity in the 21st century.

Love is the magnetizing and universal force for progression and evolution; however, hate and negative thought frequencies are the forces that divide, stagnate and hinder the evolution and development of the Asiatic in the areas of economics, social integrity and psycho-spiritual advancement. It was the latter that stagnated movement, success and a national cohesiveness within the Moorish American familial structure. The standards and values of the Moorish American must become the glue by which the Moors connect themselves despite group fragmentation and differences in perception. The free national name (natal identity) and the Moorish Holy Koran are the standards and values that bind the Moors to the path of salvation. These are the instrumentalities of power and social and spiritual progress and development.

The Eternal Resonance of a Divine Message

20 01 2007
eternity

“My clarity of perception has wrought my undoing, for I have lived in a generation which has no concept of the simplicity of Truth. The world fears a mind which thinks more accurately than its own; such a mind it destroys in self protection. To think is to be persecuted by those who do not understand; to have vision is to be hated by the visionless; to be wise is to be reviled by fools. Since the beginning of time itself men have laboured under the delusion that Truth could be destroyed by murdering those who sought to give it to the world. But the sublime vertices of Aton are far beyond the reach of mortality and in every age are reborn in others who rise up to carry them forward again. My voice has been weak and a small voice. But there shall be others and they will sing the glad song of freedom for all mankind to hear.” - Akhnaton from the Secret Places of the Lion

As time has shown on many occasions, it is easier to discredit and display error in an advanced work from a mind of genius and greatness than to show appreciation of its value. Faults are of a finite and particular nature which are easily absorbed by the sponge of negativity that is possessed in the ill heart of Man; however, on the other hand, the stamp of innovativeness that genius impress upon its works is inexhaustible in excellence and do not become obsolete as they serve as instructions for many succeeding centuries and generations. The perfected masterpiece of a true visionary will always have a profound affect on humanity, so that it becomes incalculable to what distant its enlightening influence may reach.

However, it must be understood that instantaneous, widespread and far-reaching change and acceptance does not take place suddenly because of the great difference, in frenquency and mission, between the genius mind and the mundane mind of the ordinary and drone-like masses. The revealed knowledge that Noble Drew Aali presented in the form of the Moorish Holy Koran, the Moorish Literature, his keys of wisdom that encouraged self-study and self-mastery to counteract the adverse affects of mental slavery, and his teachings regarding the importance of natal identity (Nationality) and spiritual uprightness, can not “at once” be the property of mankind until men gain the insight and integrity to recieve what the genius had to give, however, the industrious torchbearers shall be ever-present, waiting to bestow the infinite message for the upliftment of fallen humanity.

moorishnationEven after a successful struggle with unworthy religious, political and nationalistic opponents, who contest the life, works and teachings of what is immortal at birth, and would like to delay the salvation of the Asiatic creations, that knowledge must wander through the circuitous paths of innumerable false interpretations and distorted applications; it must overcome the attempts to unite it with old errors, and thus reside in internal conflict, until a new and unprejudiced generation comes forth to meet it with appreciation, an open mind and love. However, in youth, this generation will receive some of its contents, of that source, from a thousand different channels who attempted to assimilate it by degrees, and thus shares in benefit that which was to flow from the spirit oriented genius to the rest of humanity.

Slow and dudged is upward progress in the spiritual advancement and the divine education of the Asiatics creations. However, time will reveal itself when Noble Drew Ali’s teachings will become evident in relevancy, when the spirit of the age, itself gradually reformed and calibrated in the most essential respect by the influence of that teaching which furnish the living evidence of the power of that genius intellect personified as Noble Drew Ali.

Attempting to openly accept the teachings of Noble Drew Ali is like introducing the ancient mysteries of alchemy into a modern chemisty curriculum. The works of Noble Drew Ali needs no validation, but the teachings themselves will externally extol their mastery, and will always reside on the earth plane in the spiritual essence of Noble Drew Ali.

The Divine Duty of a Sheik: The Master of the Mystic Lore of the “Old Time Religion” and the Upholder of the Spiritual Codes of Being and Becoming

17 01 2007
sufi

“He learned the secrets of the mystic lore of Egyptland, the mysteries of life and death and of the world beyond the circle of the sun.”

The Sheik, Moorish Scientist, explores three modes of active and operative knowledge that reduces the illusory “distance” between Man and ALLAH. These operative methods of knowledge are as follows: heart knowledge (love mysticism), beatific vision (theophany mysticism) and immaterial sensory knowledge (intuitive mysticism). In the scope of mysticism and mastery, the Sheik is identified as a physical representation of a sage and/or high priest operating in the ancient and mystic lore of the “old time religion” and in the ancient traditions of knowing and understanding which also include the activation of spiritual forces that effect the expression of phenomena. The Sheik is a master of the mysteries, both material and spiritual. The Sheik also acts as a spiritual counselor to assist in finding, understanding and processing solutions to spiritual and secular related issues that hinder the awakening process that lead to higher realms of being, experience and intelligence.

The Meccan Revelations, volume IThe function of a Sheik is to provide guidance for the purpose of helping others develop the discipline and character that support spiritual growth and enlightenment. This is done by identifying the spiritual destiny (Ori) while developing a spiritual blueprint to cultivate the higher destiny of the spiritual adept. Just as Moors honor all of the true and divine prophets, so does the Sheik by honoring and remaining out of conflict with other religions and traditions as he/she is thoroughly trained in the universal truth that is held within each spiritual system that re-links one to their divine and perfect origin.

The Sheik’s influence should extend deep into all phases of life as he/she lives for one purpose, to discover the will of ALLAH and to become that “Will” in manifestation. Because the Sheik is charged with the spiritual development of others, he/she must also dedicate themselves to improving their own understanding of life while acting as a proper example for others; therefore, the Sheik must hold his own behavior, thoughts and actions to the highest moral standards.

The Meccan Revelations, Volume IIThrough the utilization of the three modes of operative knowledge, the Sheik (Moorish Scientist) learns to recognize the world’s objects as garments of ALLAH. Through perpetual spiritual growth and discernment, the Sheik then sees the garments as transparencies, only to see ALLAH veiled within each garment as symbolism.

  • Moorish Holy Koran (MHK) 11:22 - “These forms of life were but the thought of ALLAH, clothed in the substance of their ether planes.”

The doctrine of “fana” (the extinction of personal existence Quran 55:26-27) plays a great role in the ever developing Sheik, Moorish Scientist, because he/she soon realizes that “self” consciousness, replete with private and personal agendas, perpetuate the seperateness of Man from ALLAH, which creates distance between Man and his true destiny: the “Oneness of ALLAH (ahadiyya).”

Read the following passage and think over the coded message.

“There is a means of polishing all things whereby rust may be removed. That which polishes the heart is the invocation of ALLAH.”

Moorish Science: The Self Disclosure to ALLAH Reality

16 01 2007
meditation

The deepest and purest essence of Moorish Science is not intended for those seeking surface knowledge or those looking for a false sense of intellectual status; instead, Moorish Science acts as a conduit for the study of the most ancient and sacred wisdom: Islam. This universal system of mastery prepares the adept for the experience with the inner master: The Higher Self.

To understand the deeper aspects of the practice of Moorish Science, an adept has to constantly search for enlightenment and an operative level of knowledge that is based on the spiritual attument with higher consciousness frequencies and a theophany of al- Haqq (truth) as a result of beatific vision. This level of study requires that the adept open his/her “inner spiritual eye” and extend his/her own conscience beyond the limits of the material/ carnal existence. This is the path to super consciousness.

The Self-Disclosure of God: Principles of Ibn Al-'Arabi's Cosmology (Suny Series in Islam)To truly comprehend the divine lessons of Moorish Science, one must prepare them selves for an intricate and arduous journey to the “Throne of Mercy,” sarir al-rahmaniyya. To better understand the intimacy of ALLAH development within each man and woman, the following parable best explains how one gains insight into the spiritual realms of ALLAH.

“During a time of abundance and wisdom, several scholars (alims) came to a sheik and requested that he explain the ancient and eternal wisdom of Moorish Science. The sheik smiled and stated, “If it is Allah’s will, you shall learn the mysteries of ALLAH on ‘this’ day.” The sheik then invited the scholars into his house and asked them to wait for a short time while he withdrew to a separate room to make retreat (khawla) to Allah. The sheik returned after several hours and stated that the wisdom of ALLAH was revealed in vision. He further stated that if the scholars received the same vision, then the mysteries of ALLAH was theirs; however, if they did not experience the glory of ALLAH, then they had to either seek another sheik or learn to seek the answers from within. The depth of this parable demonstrates that it is impossible to teach “truth,” but one can only be guided to the source of truth for each individual has to “experience” truth - not be “told” truth.

The pure essence of the sacred and mystic spiritual system of Moorish Science is revealed by ALLAH’s kindness only to those, who are seeking and making effort to achieve an inner understanding of the “Unity of ALLAH” (ahadiyya) by self study and self mastery.

  • Moorish Holy Koran 3:14-15 “If you would ask me what to study, I would say, yourselves; and when you well have studied them; and then would ask me what to study next, I would reply, yourselves. He who knows well his lower self, knows the illusions of the world, knows of the things that pass away; and he who knows his higher self, know Allah; knows well the things that cannot pass away.”

The divine lessons, held within Moorish Science, act as the sacred teachings that hold the “keys” to the knowledge of the inner Universe. Its goal are to bring the Asiatic creation up to the higher levels of perfection.

  • Moorish Holy Koran - “Man cannot die; the spirit-man is one with Allah, and while Allah lives man cannot die. When man has conquered every foe upon the plane of soul the seed will have full opened out, will have unfolded in the Holy Breath. The garb of soul will then have served its purpose well, and man will need it never more, and it will pass and be no more and man will then attain unto the blessedness of perfectness and be at one with Allah.”

Man was given Moorish Science, Islam, to comprehend the creations of the Most High, ALLAH, and to perceive the glory  of the Most High, ALLAH, to reach the Throne of Mercy. Hence the specific range of means and methods used in the practice of Moorish Science, which can be quite difficult for understanding, remains as a science for those pure in intent and pure in heart. Moorish Science, by way of the Holy Koran of Mecca and the Moorish Holy Koran, teaches the importance of gaining understanding of the true and pure reality of ALLAH. Reaching this level of consciousness opens a plethora of possibilities for the development of Man.

The expressed teachings of Noble Drew Ali, encoded within the Moorish Holy Koran, lies enlightenment for man, the unique creation of ALLAH. However, it must also be known, that a true Moorish Scientist is not so bold to believe of think that the Moorish Holy Koran is the “only” written tool for self mastery. Many text have been placed before Man for his spiritual development, just as ALLAH have sent many messengers to guide Man toward his/her true destiny. If the adept (you) do not remeber anything else, please “know,” that” Man is doomed to perfection” whether he/she likes it or not.

The Universal Principles That Nourish the Divine Seed in Man: The Synchronicity of Truth

10 01 2007
moors

The divine teachings of Noble Drew Ali encouraged the apprentice and pure seeker of self-mastery to embrace the universal truths that create balance and unity between man and his environment. These natural aspects of infinite wisdom, provided by adept visionaries, sages and prophets, exist as evolutionary guidelines to resolve conflicts and differences for the purpose of spirit evolution and the achievement of the “Oneness of ALLAH.” One of the Moorish keys to knowledge, left in code by Noble Drew Ali, was his statement, “we honor all of the true and divine Prophets: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius.” This statement pointed out the similar aims and mission of the pure and fundamental teachings of the ancient wisdom which encouraged and emphasized a higher consciousness development in Man. The spiritual goal of each divine messenger is the active expression of peace and harmony. This expression, however, is first manifested within one’s self, and then released into the social area of the human existence.

The Ancient Egyptian Buddha: The Ancient Egyptian Origins of BuddhismThis article will display the similarities and teachings of oneness that exist between the true and divine prophets as pointed out by Noble Drew Ali. As previously stated, the keys to understanding are encoded in the ancient and mystic teachings of Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius. Within the sacred sayings and text of these true and divine prophets are the essential elements, themes and methods for spirit progression and mastery. The following passages will display the divine truths that are shared between the four spiritual systems presented by the four teachers that were highlighted by Noble Drew Ali. It is important to demonstrate the universal aspects of these spiritual systems and how the revealed teachings of Noble Drew Ali were in accord with these teachings and not some “hodgepodge” collection of irrational religious ideals. With a complete study of Moorish Science, the “Oneness” of being and the “Oneness” of principle is revealed and engrained within the psyche of the apprentice of self-mastery.

Read and compare the teachings of Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius and encourage your inner being to develop a pattern for seeing the “Oneness” of the ancient wisdom teachings, for the source of all is “One” in nature despite man’s comprehension level, or lack of, regarding the infinite existence of ALLAH. Each principle will express a teaching or saying from the respective spiritual systems that represent Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha and Confucius; therefore, the principles will be categorized as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Also, the universal wisdom from the Moorish Holy Koran is used to display the universality of the teachings of Noble Drew Ali. As stated in the Moorish Holy Koran, “truth is the only thing that changes not.”

This display of infinite wisdom demonstrates the connectedness humanity has regarding a truth that remains durable, despite man’s attempt to divide and separate the ancient knowledge of “Oneness.” It should now be understood that the common link in man transcends the narrow boundaries of exoteric and mundane religion. The “old time religion” as expressed by Noble Drew Ali represents the nucleus in the web of destiny. Despite man’s attempt to confine that which he truly does not comprehend, Moorish Science shall remain an ever unfolding truth for those prepared for higher consciousness evolution. To conclude this article, the following text from the Moorish Holy Koran shall provide as validation regarding the constantly evolving psyche of man and how the infinite truth of ALLAH ever reveals itself to the blossoming being of spiritual evolution. Remember….man is doomed to perfection!

Moorish Holy Koran 10:13-25

13. All people worship Allah, the One; but all the people see Him not alike.

14. This universal Allah is wisdom, will and love.

15. All men see not the Triune Allah. One sees Him as Allah of might; another as Allah of thought; another as Allah of love.

16. A man’s ideal is his God, and so, as man unfolds, his God unfolds. Man’s God today, tomorrow is not God.

17. The nations of the earth see Allah from different points of view, and so He does not seem the same to every one.

18. Man names the part of Allah he sees, and this to him is all of Allah; and every nation sees a part of Allah, and every nation has a name for Allah.

19. You Brahmans call Him Parabrahm; in Egypt he is Thoth; and Zeus is His name in Greece, Jehovah is His Hebrew name; but everywhere He is the causeless cause, the rootless root from which all things have grown.

20. When men are afraid of Allah and take Him for a foe, they dress up other men in fancy garbs and call them priests.

21. And charge them to restrain the wrath of Allah by prayers and when they fail to win His favour by their prayers, to buy Him off with sacrifice of animals or birds.

22. When man sees Allah as one with him, as Father Allah, he needs no middle man, no priest to intercede.

23. He goes straight up to Him and says, ‘My Father God, Allah!’ and then he lays his hand in Allah’s own hand, and all is well.

24. And this is Allah. You are, each one, a priest, just for yourself; and sacrifice of blood Allah does not want.

25. Just give your life in sacrificial service to all of life, and Allah is pleased.”

The Passion of Noble Drew Ali: The Moorish Key to Knowledge

8 01 2007
Noble Drew Ali - MoorsGate.com

Noble Drew Ali, born January 8th, 1886, brought with him a mission, a message and a plan that would foster the benefits of a system for salvation that was of an Earthly and Divine nature. His mission to “uplift fallen humanity” was a goal that included the projected ideologies of spiritual growth and evolution, enlightenment and the oneness of ALLAH. Noble Drew Ali provided the Moors with a vision of a goal and a map to the inner source of the Asiatic’s true genetic identity and infinite spiritual essences that is contained within the temple of man.

Noble Drew Ali demonstrated the behavior of being a spiritual achiever by displaying a deep love and devotion to those he worked to release from a state of mental slavery. He urged Moors to develop a natural sense of love and compassion for one another by constantly reminding the Moors to learn to “love instead of hate.” His work ethic, dedication and forethought represented his insight into the future paradigms of consciousness and social being.Noble Drew Ali represented, for the Moors in the Occidental territories, a modern entity with a plan for healing, self-identity, self-knowledge, self-realization, and salvation. These benefits, as a result of studying Noble Drew Ali’s teachings, are encoded, symbolically interwoven and interpolated in a divine preparation entitled, the “Moorish Holy Koran.” Within this manual for self mastery are the tools for developing the workshop of the mind and the guidelines regarding the spiritual dimensions and the divine essence that is enthroned within man. In studying the works and teachings of Noble Drew Ali, one will find the following consciousness templates engraved into the manual of self-mastery: the Moorish Holy Koran. These seven basic “Truths” are as follows:

  • Circle 7Evolution cannot be hindered; Man is doomed to perfection as spiritual growth is assured (MHK Chapter 1).
  • ALLAH’s dwelling place is within the heart of Man; for ALLAH and man are one.
  • Man’s reality of ALLAH changes at different phases of growth and consciousness attainment (MHK 10:13-23).
  • Engrained in Man is the higher truth as man possesses a “higher self” which is ALLAH in man.
  • The true nature of man is infinite as “time never was when man was not (Moorish Holy Koran Chapter 1).”
  • Man has two selves, the “higher self” and “lower self;” the “higher self” represents the infinite and eternal truth, while the “lower self” symbolizes the temporary world of illusion.
  • The natal identity of the Moors is of an ancient origin and that the spiritual system (old time religion) utilized by the Moors is for both an earthly and divine salvation. Through this specialized system of being and becoming, one learns to honor thy mother and thy father by clinging to the upright and ancient “ways” that leads one back to the oneness of ALLAH, for ALLAH and man are one.

Drew AliAs Noble Drew Ali understood that no two people possessed the same degree of understanding, he encouraged the Moors, then and now, to teach and enforce the principle of love as the method by which they (we) would “uplift fallen humanity.” He also urged the Moors to act in love and compassion while also displaying the ability to forgive, because everyone would not be psychologically prepared at the same time. However, he knew that there would be moments when the five senses would synchronize with deeper intuition and be allowed to access a greater frequency of consciousness and being that would deliver a higher degree of truth. He unveiled the mystery that Asiatics were all linked into the same infinite intelligence which allowed them the ability to activate their potential to vibrate in perfect harmony with ALLAH. This, as taught by Noble Drew Ali, was an inevitable act if man were to attune himself with his higher self: the self of Aught.

He also revealed that the barriers that would hinder progress and attunement with the higher self would be the parasitic identity of delusion: the lower self. He further revealed that this entity of illusion would distract man with the following: the intoxication for ego needs, the distortion of perception, the lack of self identity and self worth, with trauma that psychologically defeats the best intentions and with all other aspects of the illusory world that breed harm, hurt and imbalance. These are the ancient and universal teachings of Noble Drew Ali.

We honor him, his message and his teachings on this holy day, January 8th, 2007. May the universal truth that be unveiled continue to enlighten minds and purify hearts with the majestic glory of ALLAH?

From moorsgate.com we would like to say…Happy Birthday!

The Occult Chamber of the Heart: The Dwelling Place of ALLAH

4 01 2007
heart

A most important instrument regarding the complex structure of Man is the vehicle termed the heart. The question may arise about the location and functionality of the heart, but just as man struggles with the intricacies of the soul, so he also struggles with understanding the heart center and its reflective qualities that link to the vibrational device of the mind. The heart instrument, during the sacred evolutionary process that takes place within the womb, is the first to be formed in the organ structure of the Asiatic creation. This fact, known by scientists, reveals the mystic truth that the heart is the beginning center of form and is the location of seed of perfection (spirit) in Man. This dimension of truth suggests that within the depths of the heart center lays the divine spark that animates and connects all in existence and beyond. This is supported by the Moorish teachings that state that the closest place to find ALLAH is within the heart of Man, which represents the deepest and most sacred aspect of Man.

The Sufi Book of Life: 99 Pathways of the Heart for the Modern DervishThrough constant study of self, the Moorish Scientist learns to consider the devotion of the esoteric heart center as the most important place to develop for spiritual realization. This is supported by the ancient parables that teach how the posession of a calcified heart center closes Man from ALLAH because he closes himself from his fellow Man. This is expressed in the Gnostic texts of 1 John 4:20-21 when it says – “If someone says, “I Love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” As encouraged by the teachings of Noble Drew Ali, the statement of “learn to love instead of hate” has a greater meaning to the adept seeking admittance into the mysteries of higher consciousness evolution.

Love, the primordial substance of eternal life, is not found in any exterior temple of Man on the Earth plane nor does it dwell in the atmospheric heavens above, but it is found in the depths of the inner sanctum sanctorum of Man. The “light of the world” is the Asiatic lantern that burns with the oil of patience, understanding and self-sacrifice. The question then arises, “whom should man love and in what manner should man love?” The action of “Love” is expressed by man’s intent to draw himself/herself closer to the vibration of love, whether it be through the love of art, social service, music, the study of nature, psychology or the universe. The excuse is first created by an intoxication of feeling or attraction, but with training, guidance, and instruction, that energy is then directed not to the physical entity or expression, but to the underlying nucleus of all that exists: ALLAH.

The Science of LoveThe first lesson, for Man, is the awakening of the heart center and the magnetic flow of its inner expression. This becomes the purification process by which the heart is cleansed, as it exercises the activeness of love and divine intent. The infinite dimensions of the heart acts as a vehicle for the Asiatic creations to see the inner and outer worlds of the hierarchical command – John 12:2 “In my Father’s house are many mansions…” However, the mystic adept knows, as fact, that the science of the “giving of one’s self” is the ultimate expression of “Love” as the title of “Moslem” is esoterically defined as “one who submits to the Universal Laws of ALLAH through the divine expression of Love;” for how else could one submit to the will of the Most High God, but without first “Loving” ALLAH without the fear of the demise of the ego-self. This is the initiatic state of transforming from “submitting the will of ALLAH” to “becoming the will of ALLAH.” This is the esoteric symbolism of tithing as there is nothing else to give ALLAH other than yourself.

This “Will” is esoterically revealed in the Quran of Mecca when it says “kun faya kun,” be and it became. This action of the above mentioned phenomena represents how manifestation came into existence as an answer to the “Will” that expressed itself in the logos of “Be.” This phenomena not only exemplifies the origin of creation, but the “being” of creation and its manifestation (s). That power remains latent within the occult heart chamber of Man: the dwelling place of ALLAH.

Through the study of the spiritual dimensions of psychology, the adept learns to recognize its Overself counterpart, the preexistent higher intelligence within the seven vehicles of the Overself hierarchy. This area in the initiatic experience allows the pure ones to acclimate them selves with the photonic language of geometric programs, which connects the signature frequency of pure love with the many spiritual vehicles working with the divine programs of ALLAH that act as food for the higher vehicles of consciousness. The blossoming process of the mystic rose, in essence, symbolizes the unfolding of the heart center in Man. As Man works upward on onward to his/her hour of graduation, the body of Truth, vibrating to the signature frequency of Ana l’ Haqq, transforms Man into a living scroll of truth, charged with light to be delivered to the throne of ALLAH. This is the purpose of Love.

This is nothing romantic, nothing passive, delicate or weak; but something with divine coordinates to the most powerful, majestic and noble expression in the known and unknown Universe – this is the “action” of Moorish Science.

Resolution: Restoring the Moorish Reputation While Completing an Honest Self Evaluation

1 01 2007
honor

To establish and maintain any type of “Power” one must have a reputation that is deserving of “Power.” Reputation, like a good name, is worth more than treasure and should be guarded with one’s life. The natal identity and reputation of the Moorish American has been compromised and damaged for the following: 1) to satiate personal gain and criminal intent, 2) to avoid taking responsibility for one’s own actions and 3) to “blame shift” while taking refuge under the name Moor or Moorish American. These behaviors and actions have allowed a pure name to become stained; which according to the teachings of Noble Drew Ali regarding the word “Colored,” suggests that the pure reputation of Moorish American is now “Colored.” Therefore the titles of Negro, Black and Colored have been reclaimed and expressed by action, despite the lack of use of the chattel slave names and brands that were placed upon the Moorish after the transference of power.

The Book of Five RingsThere is nothing to be gained by neglecting the importance of reputation. It was the great reputation of the past Moors that the current Moors flash as badges of honor; but, what reputation has the modern Moor currently established for him/herself. As the paradigm shift continues, Moors must become strategic in action and honest while performing self analysis so as to access what is truly needed to “cross the chasm” to success. The national identity of Moorish American should, and must, exude honor, intelligence, solidarity, respect, uprightness, industriousness, morality and a work ethic that exemplifies integrity. Just as disease is infectious, so are the parasitic negative energies that attach themselves to reputations that plummet toward inevitable disaster. Never underestimate the dangers of infection to one’s reputation as it is the culprit of chronic dissatisfaction, the pathology of failure and the terminal cancer to success.

The Art of War by Sun Tzu - Special EditionAs utilized in the battlefields of business, reputation is the tool by which one increases their presence, strengths and power. Once a person or a people have stained their reputation, then their weaknesses, insecurities and vulnerabilities become evident for everyone to see. At this point, your demise can easily be conjured as you have become exposed and open for attack. This is the “Art of War!” By not caring how you are perceived, you allow others to decide your destiny, which could hinder progress and/or alter your fate.

The 48 Laws of PowerAn established reputation creates an aura that radiates respect, honor and even fear. As the old saying goes, “Your reputation precedes you.” A healthy and honorable reputation helps increase favorable outcomes as a lot the work is completed before one ever begin any actual work because a powerfully radiant “Reputation” has placed the gears of success into motion. This type of image and presence represents “Power” as evidenced by the work that is completed before you ever arrive on the scene or ever utter the first word. Reputation leads to respect. Respect leads to Power. Power allows one to have more control over their destiny. These are the “Keys to Power.” Solution - For the New Year and the years to come, Moors should focus on drawing positive attention to them selves while creating an honorable and distinguished image.

Restoring the name, vibration and meaning of Moor involves an active participation in the process termed Resurrection. The name Moor once struck cords of fear in the nervous systems of those hearing it. During the Moorish reign in Europe, Moor symbolized a ferocious warrior instinct, rational intelligence, esteemed presence, power, and a vast knowledge of the unknown. Today those same attributes must be restored and acted upon if the Moors are to progress and transform their current condition into something favorable, useful and worthy. These must become the industrious acts of the Moors of the twenty first century. Not only should the modern day Moors, create and maintain a healthy image and presence, they must also display what it is to be a Moor. The consciousness level and behavior of Negroes, Blacks and Coloreds should not be an option of action in the flesh of a Moor.

Exemplify excellence, morality, just action and noble behavior while also demonstrating the characteristic of those that deserve “Power” in the 21st Century; that is the legacy of the Moor in this era and time. The pearl is not created without friction, so let the evolution of the Moor be a noble and productive experience.
